ARE V series. I haven’t had a tent on it yet but I have seen people who do. I think it will be fine considering half of the weight will be supported by the ladder once you’re in the tent. I did stand on the roof of the cap once on the Prinsu and jump up and down a little. I weigh about 210ish. Didn’t hear and snaps, pops or cracks.
I am going to support the bed sides though with the stiffeners for just an added security.

Finally had a chance to install my Wilwood big brake kit after being out of town for most of the last 3 months. It was a small hassle to have to cut off the dust shield but the Dremel saw did the job and I was just glad to not start any fires in my garage. After finishing the installation I called a friend who also has a Tacoma with a lot more experience with brakes to help me bleed the brakes. I could not seem to get all of the air out of the lines so I called Wilwood tech support and found out that the small nipples need to be opened up and not the brass nuts like on the Tacoma brakes. Oh well. They are much lighter than the stock brakes which cuts down on the unsprung weight. Overall, I am glad to have done this mod since it only has to save my life one time or avoid one accident to have more than paid for itself. The link below is around $200 less than the Wilwood retail price on their website. It also has free shipping and no tax.

Installed my SDHQ behind the grill light brackets and 30” light bar. 15 minutes. I remember when just taking off the grill seemed like such a daunting task, now it’s off in half a minute or less. 9BD00AD0-3714-4F69-91DB-6F4807797816.jpg8FC657F8-8437-4E11-A9D8-6B85D4317933.jpg

Last weekend I had the summer tires put back on. Went in for 2nd service today and asked to get the trans fluid checked. I have my doubts, but I guess I'll know at lunch tomorrow...

Got my Carhartt rear seat covers installed. Happy with how they fit, looking forward to testing their durability with the pups.

Wires are tucked into the headliner and then down through the weather-stripping to the base of the passenger side footwell. I then used the included wire management clips to attach the wiring well inside the footwell and then up the centre console.

    Pretty much like this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bc7mdEYY0Jw

Only I didn't just tuck the wires underneath the floor-mat to get to the console like he does at the end

Very fancy. Love the aluminum hats. Although, I would have skipped the cross drilled pattern.

Im guessing you felt a “bump” in acceleration?

After two years of lurking and inspiration, finally posting for the first time.

    5E0E8AE1-5CCC-4263-8C59-933F0AE79220.jpg 6F88115E-5278-4E73-9E4A-006029280547.jpg DE9A6B54-C20D-4709-881A-8D1814C7A114.jpg E4D5BC8E-C46E-4643-A93D-CFA923BB4F9F.jpg
Some things I’ve done from when I first got it til now are:
Predator steps and roll-n-lock (from dealership)
    Opt7 LED headlights
LED fogs, reverse lights, and all interior lights
Tint 35% front and 20% over factory rear
    Magnaflow muffler back exhaust
    Rokblokz mud flaps
    Husky floor mats
10” type-s in ********* behind the seat box
FN Bfd’s with 265/60/18 (while stock height)
    1.25” spidertrax spacers (fronts)
    Caliraised light bar
    Custom car grills mesh grill
    Bilstien 5100/887 springs/AAL/diff drop/extended braided brake lines
    Pop & lock tailgate lock
Fab Fours rear bumper (due to being rear ended) luckily only the stock bumper took damage.
    Kicker/Subaru tweeters
    JBA high caster UCAs

That’s pretty much it so far. And thanks to this forum, I was able to install everything my self with all the resources I needed. Defiantly couldn’t have done it without everyone’s knowledge.

In the future I’d like to get a set of 33’s to fit the lift better, ECGS bearing (not looking forward to that one), and upgrading suspension somewhere down the line.

Thanks! I’ve had them on for 5 days haha. After getting alignment they’re awesome. Truck drives a lot smoother and it feels like there’s way less slop in the suspension compared to stock. Installation was pretty straight forward also.
