Installed the 3 inch MBRP exhaust. I'm exhausted myself yanking those hangers. Lol.

Working on my video and blending with better sound recorder.

If you want to hear my Samsung s8+ recording it's on instagram..

I think you can see from a browser without an account

Is the sound what you were hoping for? Any drone when driving? Thanks for the input

Only drove it around the block. Going to work on freeway and hills tomorrow so I will see.

It also is breaking in and smoking. I've been told it mellows out.

Very nice. The sound will mellow out and become less "buzzy" in a couple of weeks. There is a drone while cruising but to me its not annoying at all. Just a nice mellow hum.

I am. I want a spare check so that I can take my time and put some good solid coats of paint on them when I black mine out. Then I’ll either pass mine along, or save them to experiment on. I’ve been thinking of getting into hydrodipping, so I might take a shot at hydrodipping my badges down the road.

Over the weekend I installed a front and rear anytime Camera,

I wanted to share this because I have a grill that’s not plastic when I drilled into it and installed the camera I wasn’t happy with the look. I was having a beer and came up with this idea to hide the fact that I drilled into it, and the hole looked a little mangled. So just in case anyone out there has a metal grill and wants to install a front camera take a look. I’ll probably end up making another one just because I have one small tool mark from where I had to hold the beer cap with a pair of vise grips while I was drilling the hole. However It turns out if you have a Dremel tool and a beer cap everything will be ok.

Yeah, I did a couple of car stereos back in the late 90s and early 2000s, but nothing since then. Most of my experience is wiring up practice IEDs and other explosive charges for the Army. I feel like its something that I should be able to figure out, but I’m a little nervous cutting into the wiring system on my brand new Tacoma.

Didn’t do anything too exciting or crazy but installed a necessary mod with summer right around the corner. I mounted up a couple of cup holders to the bed rail. It’s a nice cheap mod that was easy to install and will most certainly come in handy this summer. I glued on a couple magnets to keep them from opening while going down the road but they fold up nice and flat and will be there when I need them.

Do you have any better pics of your mount, or a write up on the install. I keep a military Gerber survival knife in my truck, but its just shoved between the seat and the center console. This looks like a better option. Is it hard mounted to the truck, or can you take the knife and sheath out as well. I do wear mine on my hip from time to time s well. I could keep that one there and hard mount my old Glock kit knife to the truck if its a hard mount.

You guys are giving me knife envy. How does the SOG stack up against the Gerber. I keep a survival knife in my truck. I like the the Gerber has a sharpener in the sheath, the glass breaker on the pommel, and lashing holes to rig it up as a spear, plus the one end can be used as a hammer. I also use the Gerber as my multi tool of choice, but have also used a couple of different leatherman tools (including the original). I’ve always wanted to try a SOG though.

Front hitch, 5100's, 885's, Snugtop XV, Slimline II, Sumos, bed platform, AAL, interior LED lights in cab and bed, exterior camp/backup LED's, Rigid DOT Fogs and D2 Pro Spots, Mega Ultra +130 bulbs, heavy-duty fog light, spot light, and low beam wiring harness, Weathertech mats, Re-routed dif breather and A/C drip line, dash cam, front and side cameras, anytime rear camera and nav, Blue Seas fused bus bars to cab and bed, heavy-duty bus bar w/Anderson quick disconnects under the hood for powering winch, solar, air compressor, and other accessories.
Ran a 10 ga wire from the battery to a Blue Seas 5025 Fuse Block that I installed under the dash. I then ran a hot and ground wire to the console power outlet. Now I can leave my truck and have my phone charging in the console.

The next phase is to continue the 10 ga hot wire to the bed where I am going to install a switch box and another Blue Seas fuse block. The switch box will have a master power switch for the fuse block, 3 accessory switches, and a couple of power outlets: a cigarette-style and an SAE (trailer).
