Technically yesterday but oh well. @ajmogen and I installed the Kicker audio upgrade and applied sound deadening (and a fair amount of skin and blood) to all my doors. Definitely worth the time and effort, even for just the sound deadening material.

On the downside, I found my passenger front shock is leaking...again. So now the question is whether to fix it or accelerate my plans and order the +2 long travel kit I have been planning. Thoughts from the masses?

This is the only picture I have from the day.

I did 6 coats . The more coats the better! I used a wooden toothpick to peel off the tight little areas. For my 07 i did 9 coats on the wheels and it was still in great shape when i traded it in shit its been 3 years ago. I have dipped my badges on my 16 about a month after purchase they still look great!

It wasnt necessary in my opinion, the blue seas housing was the perfect size to be a very snug fit, it doesn't move at all and its tight enough that I would have to use pliers to remove it. Plenty sturdy to hold a USB cable haha

Getting ready to go down to Old Coast Road to Big Sur via Los Padres National Forest. Did a pre-flight inspection and am happy to report all u-bolt nuts are tight and no sign of leakage from the rear differential. I’ve only got a little over 4,100 miles and she goes in for her first service in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know if the ECU flash for the transmission is covered by the warranty? :D

The Tygers aren't trail worthy, well maybe light trails.
Yeah I spent around the same for my slides - but then again you can pick the truck up buy them with no issue.
