Just picked up my first tacoma last week, and I'm usually a "pay the dealer to install" kind of guy, but decided to give installing side steps a shot, as I want to learn more about this kind of stuff.

I know they're easy but its actually a big deal for me, as Im not mechanically inclined at all! I think they came out pretty good!

So are the tow hooks just for looks. They look great. I like em. I probably would never use them but like the look.

Put in a 2 ch dash cam from blackVue that used the go pro mount. So far I like it more then my last setup. I have a battery coming for park mode Friday.

New Falken Wildpeaks are vibrating between 55 and 65 MPH. balancing issues maybe? Discount Tire mounted them on 16 inch Ray 10’s. Smooth until right at 60.

    Who's running a behind-the-grill hidden light mount?

    Some pics would be nice.

I have one and once I receive my horns I will be posting a writeup with my install. I can’t wait. I don’t have any pics right now but I’m sure someone does. It’s going to be the perfect location. At least until the twin turbos come out. :/

Here are some pics from before I found on my build page

Grill looks really nice. I reached out to BPF with questions about buying a grill from them but have heard nothing. Were they easy to deal with for you? Any issues I should be aware of if I buy a grill from them?

    Thanks!
