Got the 2018 TRD Offroad Monday and had toolbox installed yesterday. Low profile matte black UWS box. Installed LED interior lights, aeroskin II bug guard, tailgate TACOMA inserts, tailgate handle Toyota stickers, glovebox inserts, in channel avs vent visors and ordered LED headlights from Xenon Depot. Also ordered G-Tek Fab door sill protectors. Tacomatoolbox.jpg

Great choice, I have the same box. Have had it for 8 months now. The thing is sturdy and still looks great as day 1.

If I remember correctly, back to 2013, that slides into the crease between the seat cushion and back of the seat.

Huh. Hadn't thought of that. I'll have to give that a try.

    Welcome to the herd.

First major mod was installing Cali Raised's hidden light bar. Only tough part was going through the firewall but definitely worth it. Took about two hours and I'm super happy with the resultsIMG_2277.jpgIMG_2289.jpg

I have had my Leonard for nearly 3 years. I believe it is made by the same company. Top quality build. I had a Husky for less than a week. Locks were junk. No matter the adjustment it would just pop open riding down the street. I have had a box in most of my 15 trucks. Husky was the worst. Added @mattgecko light kit.

I wish someone would make an under-tonneau tool box that unlatches from the driver side (so you don't have to climb into the bed, or also go around to the passenger side, to open it). Truxedo makes one, but only for full size pickups.

Hate to say it but that's why I don't want a bed cover. Use my toolbox too frequently. The best I have seen is people bolting down job boxes or gang boxes to the bed under the covers.

56.1 inches and I have a wood wheel chock up front to distribute load and stabilize the wheel that puts the bike and inch back. Mobtown makes the aluminum (and steel) skin, if I didn’t have it I’d but a wood board under the wheel to distribute the weight across the tailgate. R6 and FZ10 for comparison:

Job boxes have the same problem. You have to climb into the bed to get into them (if you don't want to mount them in the rear of the bed).

You have excellent taste in bikes. Judging from the rubber, looks like they're both for racing.

Got 3” full suspension lift, 285/75/17 Toyo mud tires, fuel vapor rims and removed mud guards and the lower front air dam thing. It was a good day!

Looks damn good. I had those wheels on my last Tacoma loved them, will most likely have a set on this truck too.
