    Thanks..
They came on the truck as a Southeast Toyota package. I think it’s just a red caliper cover

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
So, today, I went out to lunch and on the way back I noticed my left hand was getting pretty warm. Looked at the heater setting, the diverter was set to direct heat to the feet, but hot air was coming out the upper vents. So hot, in fact, that I couldn't keep my hand on the vent nearest the window for any length of time. I'm guessing this is not normal.

    Anyone else experience this?

I just had it in for service at the dealer like, a week ago, and I'm not anxious to have to deal with them yet again so soon.

That is normal. All cars I've ever had do this. It helps in colder weather to keep the windows from fogging, especially in line with the side view mirror sight line.

I'm not sure how hard yours was pushing air, but mine have always done that, including the Taco.

Ah. Okay, thanks, this is good to know. Don't recall any of my previous vehicles doing this. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention. If I wanted to defog/defrost the side windows, I'd set the diverter to split between upper and lower vents. It's possible I didn't really need to do that.

Super excited to pick up the TRD PRO skid plate today! My local dealer crushed all internet pricing and had it next day. I also removed the air damn. I still need to finish the rust prevention before installing. But can't wait.

I wanted to add a recovery point for light wheeling. TW doesn't seem to like the factory TRD point, although it fits. The BPF recovery point looks nicely made, but when mounted it's too close to the skid plate, just looks off. Does anyone have the SOS Concepts recovery point with a TRD Pro Skid plate?

    Thanks!

    PS: It needs BFG's...

........, adds up very quickly. I'm not going to total up what I've spent thus far it might prohibit me from (who am I kidding) finishing my build. Finishing??
    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
I fear we're only finished until the next latest, greatest or really slick mod or idea comes along and then it's time for a new Tacoma and we start all over again!
Maybe we need an organization similar to AA, Tacomas Anonymous. They could give out coins.........., wait, I bought those too! :anonymous:

Very nice Bud! Diamondback was my first choice but more than I could afford at the time. I'm a little bit jealous but happy with my MX4. Someday maybe. Enjoy your new cover it looks awesome!

Just installed a TRD Pro like front grille.
Bought from Motogenic $98 .... I was a little skeptical at first, but when I opened the box I was surprised.
It is more robust then my stock grille.

I also installed 6kLED Fog Lights. Super bright, well made and just popped right in.

AND, I made myself a shifter knob .... just goofing around a work.

All it takes is a little bit of grinding to get all the clearance needed with the BPF which is now 25% off

Meh. You're supposed to use some rope to tie it down to the hood, anyway.

(That's what people in my neighborhood did when I was a kid. Almost no one had a truck.)

Have you heard about all the poison tenderloins. DO NOT EAT THEM. Immediately pack in ice and send to me for testing. PM for address. I will pay shipping out of my TTF (Tenderloin Taste Fund)
EDIT That should be Tenderloin Test Fund.

Did you ever figure out what caused your fuse to blow? I blew one the other day, replaced it and it worked fine for a day or two, now it is blown again. My guess is bad wiring somewhere, I just haven't had a chance to dig into it yet.
