So I'm planning on installing a 30in hidden lightbar and want to add the oem switch. On the left side of wheel all the slots are taken, on middle it only has 4, which are taken. How hard is it to install aftermarket part with more slots?

@mesojdm makes quite a few panels.

Not hard to change them and might be able to find panel removal in here?

Super easy.. if you have blank spots.. they pop right out. The big switches and smaller ones too.
If you need room for more spots check out @mesojdm products on the marketplace. Any option you want there!

There are companies that make a bracket that allows you to mount switches where the cobby hole is on the left side of the steering wheel.

    Taco Radar Unit Failure.jpg

Pre-Collision System Malfunctioned the other day. Rained pretty heavy the day before although not sure that had anything to do with this. The error message went away for a few minutes while driving, then returned and didn't go away.

At fist dealer wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee - said it was due to the wiring I had added to my vehicle. I have a front camera/anytime rear camera mod on my truck. Have had the mod for quite some time. Had to talk to a manager and let them know I wasn't paying a diagnostic fee. He asked me about the camera wiring. tried to tell me that the radio was part of the Can Bus system and that may be affecting the Pre-Collision System. Luckily he was able to hear me out and went ahead with the diagnostic/repair under warranty. Turned out the Radar Unit behind the Toyota emblem in the grill had failed - he said the tech found it was not communicating with the rest of the system.

They ordered a replacement Radar Unit under warranty and I returned a few days later to have them install it.

A few days later they installed the new unit and were about to return the truck to me. Apparently they hadn't calibrated the new Radar and the malfunction message had returned after they had installed the new radar unit. They completed the calibration procedure and the new Radar unit began working without any further issues.

The tech told me that this was the second truck he had seen that day for the same issue. Crossing my fingers this does not become a problem again in the future.

    Rugged Liner's Rugged Cover II.

My review? Meh. Some water, but not much, gets in but it's not sitting flush. I've replaced the rubber "gasket" but it's still uneven like in the picture below.

I would not recommend the Rugged Cover II.

Solid few days. Installed the CBI T3 front bumper, winch, light bar and Morimoto HIDs and amber fogs. Had to call in some locale TW support for this. I think I can call it good for a while... *whew*

Damn. This is exactly the reason I’m hesitant to install the anytime front/rear camera. Stealership not wanting to do warranty work... lame
