I have an OPt7 bar. They are quite similar, however my opt7 has sequential amber turns.

To the point, I used a plastic "Velcro" to mount mine. The stuff I used is much like the Command Strips Velcro, meaning both sides are plastic. Recently I has a flat and I was able to change the tire in less than 15 min. This included pulling the bar off to access the spare and replacing it (it was still connected via wiring) after completing the mounting of the spare.

The bar had been in place since March 17. I was able to remove and replace it easily and no one would have ever known it was removable.

I popped mine off and just hit it with like 8 coats of PlastiDip. I plan to get the vinyl behind the scoop like you have.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    o_O I did ask...

Just kidding. There is never too much information. Well, except maybe when we're talking about our last colonoscopy, then yeah.

Thanks! :hattip: Looks great. I may have to give that a try (and this is coming from someone who's never waxed a vehicle in his entire life).

I could use one for sure. Guess it tells in the instructions how much to torque the bolts too?

Installed the Subaru Kicker Tweeters. I think it made a huge difference in the sound quality! I got this email from Amazon, showing what other customers had purchased, thought it was funny that TW is influencing the orders haha

    Check out Post #48
My only problem was I didn’t get the 7 Pin adapter to piggyback off of it so I tried to do all of my splices in the BL Brake Light housing. Everything worked great at first but after I put it in drive my turns stopped working unless I turned off and on lights(weird). If I removed the ground it worked fine. After thinking about it I cut the splice at the turn bulb and ran a new wire behind the 7 pin and spliced it there and problem solved. I’ve had to put resistors on all my leds except reverse lights. These trucks just have a very sensitive flasher relay I guess.

My understanding is that 2017 and newer do not have a flasher relay. It’s controled by one of the computers. The flasher sound in the dash is fake. I was going to just install a led flasher relay until I found this out. Had to install some resistors.
