It definitely looks cleaner. Not too crazy about the cover though. Kind of pointless if it’s not exposed to weather.

Cover is optional. If you don't like it you can remove it prior to install.

I'm looking to do the same. Where did you order it from? Also, did you get the garnish?

    Ordered it from http://motorgenic.com/trd-pro-style...for-tacoma-2016-2019-matte-black-pt228-35170/
Quality is really good and while the "TOYOTA" lettering comes with it you have to install that in the grill. It's one piece that screws in with 4 screws. I did not get the garnish as I don't have TSS but there is a removable blank where it would go. One other thing: it ships from China and it took 2-3 weeks to arrive. They do provide a tracking number though so you can at least see where it is.

How did you do that? I like it. Can you send me a link, or info on your setup?

Did a few small things in the last week. Installed the black bezel around the grill replacing the chrome, too many pro and faux pro grills running around and I liked my OEM grill just not the chrome lol. Installed new mud flaps and OEM black chrome exhaust tip. 941B30C5-F92A-4E29-9DDD-7C5DB3B6F1BD.jpg 21C24A40-83B0-47B1-96C9-C00390977F97.jpg 7C8D5346-9F3B-4A41-B352-DD57C60DFBCD.jpg

Thanks, I removed the blank with the large blade of my Swiss Army knife. Place the blade in under the blank a bit and slightly pry back.

I’m using the duel USB from Aironboard:
    https://www.aironboard.com/online/p...ual-usb-charger-for-toyota-vehicles-3994.html

With a Anker 1ft Lighting Cable off ebay:

    EC4AEFB1-7F3D-4821-B1B1-E8296570D549.jpg
For power I used a low profile Fuse Tap off eBay, and used Meso’s Under-dash Fuse box Cover. It is deeper and has cutouts for the wire to exit from.

For the Ground There’s a convenient nut next to the under-dash fuse box that after crimping on the correct size eyelet works good.

This USB location isn’t for everyone.

I added it because I like having my phone Off To The left mounted on the vent with a Hondo Garage phone mount with a Sochea Magnet attached to a Ram B 347U Mount. When the cable is plugged in you need to be careful you don’t bump it with your knee getting into the truck. I mainly use this USB on longer trips, or when I forget to charge it overnight. The cable isn’t plugged in 24/7.
    Hope this helps.

All fixed up today. Dropped it off and they had it ready about 30 minutes later.

Haven't done it yet but got quotes for new tires. Trying to decide between the Wildpeak AT3W and the new Goodyear Ultraterrain. Both in 265/70 17. I love the look of the Ultraterrain and wasn't able to see the Wildpeak in person so I can't decide but the Ultraterrains were about $170 more installed...
