How did you dismount just that unit containing the Dash piece and ac vents?

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
I got 17in wheels and Toyo tires installed with certificate for $1700. Discount Tire. Their warranty is unbelievable. No questions asked, no mileage or pro-rated. You get a new tire for $38 dollars.

The emblem comes off. There are some shitty plastic clips that hold it to the rest of the grill. Be careful. I broke one of the three taking mine off and i was really careful. It stays on with two clips :)

Drove it and got 24.5mpg, pretty good!

Then got home and my LED fogs have arrived to compliment my LED headlights (ordered the wrong bulbs TWICE!)

Sill protectors on their way, I know it'll be me or the GF who scrapes their shoe over the paint getting in and out

OPT7, link to them a couple pages back. I couldn't tell you if I lost any light, shouldn't lose very much realistically but it's never dark enough here in Tampa to ever need that light

I definitely dig the wrapped carbon fiber dash. I was wanting to do the same but since I've never wrapped anything in vinyl in my life I was worried that I just jack it all up. How hard was it and do you have much experience?

Did you have to pull the grill off? And if so how difficult is it? What's the best process?

I got a Pace Edwards Switchblade retractable cover. Looks great, water tight except at the tail gate, and runs smooth along the rails.

Installed some HID's yesterday and picked up some T-brackets today to better mount the relays. I have the ballasts attached with the 3m tape that came with the kit, but have some slim ballast brackets on the way so I'll re-mount them once those come in. Also installed LED bulbs in the fogs. Bought both from XenonDepot; went with the Philips 4300k option for the HID's and Philips LED bulbs for the fogs. Haven't driven with them installed yet so can't comment much on them just yet.
