What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Checked the Fluids and Detailed under the Hood. The Battery took a little Distilled Water, and needed some Blinker Fluid.

 

Changed the tail lights from;


To the New Hotness;


Almost all of the "Chrome" is gone on my truck now.
Only the mirror turn signals (to be replaced once Meso gets more stock) and the V6 on the rear that I am just waiting to pull off with the Side decals when I gets warmer out and I'm adding more ceramic coating.

TRD Sport Pro build...



Still deciding on a few components and collecting all the misc parts.

Finding the right stuff is tough enough.
Getting it in Canada can sometimes be like trying to find Unicorn eggs. (and those are cheaper to ship that truck parts).

 

What’s the thoughts on continuing the black up onto the cap at the same angle at the front and then back

 

I think it would complete the look and give it a factory feel.

 

Can I get some shots of your sunshield installed? I had one on my old truck and it was a decent fit but with the tss (or whatever that box is on the windshield) being in the way, wasn’t sure how close of a fit it would be. Does it still need the visors flipped down to hold

 

Greased the bushings on my total chaos upper control arms and installed the cvt Mt Shasta roof top tent
pro tip: don't leave your phone inside the tent when folding it back up

 

OVTuned today, 87 performance with gear lock. Looks like a winner. Looking forward to 1st towing outing in the spring.

Tried to install raptor lights today but the harness from eBay was terrible, had to crimp the connectors but the AWG of the wire was easily 24+ which doesn’t match the 16AWG add a fuse and couldn’t crimp a ring connector on the other wire that could fit the ground bolt next to battery. Will have to order from running4taco.com

 

Adjusting vehicle settings in TS while I wait for 04B03 1.05 87-performance to be available. Full blown blizzard here today, 14° F outside with 50mph wind gusts. Very envious of all you warm weather members!

Installed my compressor today. Wanted the switch under the hood. But need to come up with a better way to mount it. Right now just have it zip tied to bracket. Need to fab something.

 

Headlights have been sent off for the BHLM and possible retrofit to RX350 projectors. Keep going back and forth on whether to do the full retrofit.
