    Pending....

I am going to do all my chrome on my new TRD so it will be super white with matt black plasti-diped chrome.

When you say the final one peel off what does that mean! I have never done this, is here a video or pictures that show what peel off means!

    Thanks

Ok??? That seems to be the picture I posted and it was in reference to the chirping sound made when doors are open and closed while power is on. Please explain what air plug your reference to?

Looks great! The hood lights seem like more of Jeep mod though. :stirthepot:

Did you tape around the letters, or just peel and trim?

    I guess?
I did just upgraded from a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport, so if the shoe fits ...
I'm guessing not only Jeepers need to see under their hoods in the dark??

After much ado, my dumbass realized that there is a relay connected to the bed light circuit. So, I tapped into my dome light for the new puddle lights. (......Aaaaaand blew the fuse.) Off to autozone for some bigger fuses.

Nothing too exciting, but installed a couple of fork mounts for the pedal bikes today. Oh, and I also installed the front rail too.Pedalbike Taco.jpg

Where'd you get the fork mount from?

Do you have a pic of that relay? How come you didn't tie in another relay to that relay line?

I do not have a picture. I only realised it when if the switch it turned to "Doors" and you open a door (or activate the door switch) there is an audible click within the dash. No so if you simply flip the switch to 'on' .

I didn't wanna try to deconstruct the inside of the dash with it's 8 billion connectors.

Update: looks like my dumbass exceeded the load limit on the dome light circuitry...so now I have no lights. Great. Project shelved.

Sharp truck man! Good job keeping it classy. My question is regards to the AVS vent shades. Like them? I had some on my 2013 taco that I recently sold. I liked them but I've read where people with the 2016s have had the in channel visors cause problems w/ closing windows, auto up interrupt, etc. Wondering if you have had any issues? I want a slimline (close to the window) look and prefer in channel over external mount. Haven't seen any other company that makes vent shades for these trucks

    Thanks!

Sub is a Pioneer TS-SW2502S4, Amp is a Pioneer GM-D8601, box I built myself. I still need to tune things but so far it fills in the low end nicely and at an affordable price.

Do you mind putting up some instructions on the box? I'm pretty interested in building one myself.

My AVS in-channel vent shades have no issues with window features. Just leave shut first 48 hours. I made mistake on my 2014 F150 and did not wait 48 hours. Constantly had issues with driver window going down after nearly closed. Setup time is the key.
