What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed my new wheels yesterday, and I really like how it looks.

 

Nice! I went with a GTS kit, red struts/shocks, black coils. Wasn't a huge fan of the Turquoise on my BBP Taco.

 

Just a curiosity. I see and understand the rear diff breather mod. Does the front diff ( obviously 4wd models ) have a breather also? And if so, wouldn’t you want to do the same mod to it as the rear? Again. Idle curiosity.

 

The front does have one, but it is up in the engine bay already. The one on the rear axle is a popular mod because of how low it is from the factory.

Is there a breather for the two wheel drive differential?

 

I can't verify but I don't see why it wouldn't be exactly as it is on the rear axle of a 4x4. Take a look at the rear, just left of the pumpkin when facing the axle from behind; it'll be on top.

 

Ugh, reading all these posts, Makes me want to go buy a welder, but at the same time, I refuse to own one. Such a conflicting battle.

Next thing I know, there's an order confirmation for a mesh grill from CustomCarGrills in my email. No idea how that got there. Can't wait till the grill gets here.

 

I did the same 5 months ago. '16 Black SR5 to Silver '19 SR.

 

Looks good. I have tried black SR5 bezel with stock grill and have a pro grill now. 50/50 on the pro vs. black bezel. your spin is a good one as well.

Actually I traded the black truck for a 2018 Honda CR-V. Had it 8 months and needed a truck one day to haul a desk. Right then I started badly missing a truck. So I traded the CR-V for the silver SR.

I had a terrible cow manure stank in the a/c on the black Tacoma, I also grew to hate the black paint.

 

Did you have any problem with the fuel lines on the driver side? Im really interested in getting the dual out the aide exhaust. Thanks!
