I went in to O'Reilly's this morning to get some plastic fasteners. I burger-ed up one of the 2 that you need to remove to get access to the A/C drain hose as in the below video. Now I have easy access to shoot cleaning foam into my evap core box.

I dont recall that truck having a block lift. Just a really shoddy suspension job and a bad tow down a hill.

I remember he had been trying to sell that truck here and got flamed to high heaven.

I believe you are correct. He had his axle locked while someone was winching him. It is very similar result to a failed block setup that I have seen happen on other trucks. Blocks are great for the street but rough on axle housing under stresses of off roading.

 

Thanks, I appreciate the sentiment. Actually got lucky and a neighbor showed up with a new chainsaw to try out. Nothing like 2 people kicking ass with 2 chainsaws. Took longer to load and go than to cut out the bad stuff. Finished my last 2 loads. Another neighbor wanted some firewood, I said start hauling all you want.
