Got around to putting RCI rock sliders. A little rough to do as the instructions weren’t much help. Kind of had to figure out some things myself. And there’s a bolt all the forward that is basically impossible to get to. Left those out but the sliders are still solid! I’m loving the look. 67E4F466-1616-43FD-9447-CBBB7DD797AA.jpg6158652A-2DF2-43A0-90CB-CA308E1A8C21.jpg B4F4A354-B464-4B5E-A022-9F7DC36E79E4.jpg

When you're navigating in Waze, do a swipe down to get to the notifications screen. It may say something like "No notifications while you're driving," then give you a button to say "I'm not driving." Tap that, and swipe back up to get back to Waze. Hope that works for ya -- don't you just hate the "Nanny" features the lawyers insist be incorporated in useful software?

The truck looks nice. Hopefully you do not mind answering a few questions about your sliders. How well do the sliders work for use as a step into the cab? If you wanted to use them to tie down a roof top load like a kayak could you stand on them comfortably without falling off?

Good questions. They definitely give a good platform for accessing the top of the truck. Looking forward to washing the top of the truck with them on.
As far as a step for accessing the cab. I think they will take some adjusting. I banged my ankle the first time I got out of it yesterday.
Over all I am very happy with them. They were easy to install. I used a floor jack and did it by myself in under 90 minutes.

Good to hear. I like the design but they are in OR and I am in Maine so I suspect that shipping will kill the deal. Looks like it was a local purchase for you? Did you buy it in bare steel and powder coat it or paint it yourself?

I've been having a very hard time getting the autoanything page to work. I search a lot and it just crashes or spins and doesn't load. Anyone else have issues?

I used the adaptive cruise when behind big trucks, keeps me far enough they dont get mad, but close enough to draft. Also helps that I ask for permission with my CB before I tuck in behind.

Hm, that's weird. Maybe it's my work PC acting up. It was doing it yesterday too though.

Yeah-they were an hour drive from me, saved significantly on shipping. The company runs promos from time to time that helps with shipping. Memorial Day they had 15% off and $100 shipping credit.
But they’re are some good companies on your side of the country too.
    They came powder coated.

Cleaned out some Texas Mud after the drive to Florida. Must of been 100lbs of mud. Had to spray the underside all down. Bag was just from the skid plate, the other stuff from the K member.
