True but those kind shouldn’t use door handles. If the lady kind is scratching the doors, well you should be opening the door for her anyways. Some forms of being old fashioned shouldn’t die out.

Hey all newbie here, but also already getting the process started with some minor stuff.

On my 2019 TRD-OF started with a tonneau cover, and led bulbs upfront and all around (minus fogs and highbeams).

Working with Headstrong for an OME lift (probably AAL), and getting wheels and tires sorted out for the lift this fall.

One thing I use is Meguire’s Cleaner wax to get rid of junk, bug guts, small scratches. If that doesn’t work then I use the Scratch X. I always follow up with McGuire’s carnuba wax. I’m sure there is better stuff, but that’s what works for me.
I know what you mean about kids around vehicles. My sisters kids were the worst about riding bikes by the cars. Of course I had to be the mean uncle and fuss at them to get away when riding a bike. My sister was like, well it’s just a car, truck, etc. Then when she started getting luxury vehicles, that changed everything. Funny how when your stuff is nice you worry more about it.

I’ve only tried the clay bar once and half way thru doing the hood, I dropped it on the ground. Threw it away. Too much trash in it. We have 4 vehicles at home and 3 of them are kept under a carport or garage most of the time. My truck spends half it’s life at the airport so I try to keep a good wax job on it. I’m sure in the 6 months I’ve owned it, there has been plenty of fallout landing on it. Maybe when it gets a little cooler, I’ll give it a shot again.
