Thanks for the civics lesson. My day would have been incomplete without it.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I know it's difficult to shove things forward to make room at the back.

Keep a chunk of Masonite, aluminum, ABS plastic, or similar (thin, smooth sheet) handy to slide things over, then yank it out when you've got the item where you want it.
Store vertically along one side or up against the front of the bed.
    Just a thought.

<edit> For the stuff I usually haul around, the sheet need only be about a foot or foot-and-a-half wide and maybe three to four feet long.

All kidding aside. Personally I think there's a pretty good mix here. Yes it is about mods but there is also a healthy dose of conversation, both on and off topic. That additional conversation is part of what makes this thread interesting and keeps it from eventually being totally redundant.
It works for me! Hopefully for many others.
Let's all have a great day!

3M is amazing stuff, one of the Big 3! With Velcro, Duct Tape, 3M Foam Tape, and a good knife you can get around just about anything. :D

It’s ok. I now know that your smart enough to understand pictures! I was stuck into a few rifle companies. Never with a mortar unit but as a Forward Observer you would think I would have been. But nope. I got a CIB but cannot wear it. All for calling in fires for them.

So as an FO. I was the only guy that was pulled from my unit and sent to other units. I was put into a few cav units and they all wore Stetson and they were leg units. So I always showed up in my PC. They would say something like where’s your beret? So I would whip out my maroon beret and they would all shut up and say put your pc on. Turned out they didn’t like the guy coming from an airborne unit into their leg unit.

I have mad respect for the FO's that were sliced to me. COLT teams they were called. We would be walking forever thinking we were hard, and then get those guys sliced with all that GLID shizzle they hump and was instantly humbled.

Nothing wrong with a little humility from time to time, tends to keep both feet firmly planted on the ground. I take my hat off to all you guys and gals in our armed forces. You're all amazing and I thank you all for your service to our country.
God Bless you all and God Bless America!
    :oldglory:
PS: I seldom take my hat off for anything, keeps my bald spot from showing.

Yea I was stuck to a sniper section. They were bitching about how much they had to carry. I came in with an empty bag and their supply sgt was just dropping off gear left and right. Then one guy goes “at least you don’t have to carry any batteries.” Next up came 3 5590 batteries. They gave me more respect and didn’t say much. To me. Until they needed me. They were taking fire and I stopped using my rifle. Sat down behind a truck tire up against my back. Got a drink then pulled out my map and compass. They started yelling for me to get back into the fight. I told them I’m in the fight. Then I yelled get down. They looked at me like I was dumb. The next ten mins they were in awe of the destruction I could cause and had caused.
