Wouldn’t matter if you used some high heat black spray paint.

Fixed my bumper scrape with touch up paint. Sand a bit, primer, two coats of paint, Two coats of top coat. Not perfect if you get your nose close to it, but I doubt anyone but me will ever notice it.

Westin HDX - round them for half off on Amazon during Prime Day. I really like the square tube frame vs the round.

I always added K&N intake kits to my vehicles. Some cars came with them. The sole reason I put one on the 16 Taco was to hopefully minimize or eliminate the throttle lag. And it did exactly that. For $199 I figured it was worth trying. I also added a Gibson catback. I wouldn't say there is a real horsepower gain but I will say the throttle response is far better than stock. After 3.5 years I have no complaints with the K&N performance though I wish it were quieter. The exhaust does balance out the sound.

What touch-up paint did you use? I’m having a hell of a time finding Andy cement that even remotely matches.

I have them too for my MGM, but without the chrome strip. The color match is perfect . I installed them below the belt line so they are less noticeable and still provide some protection.

I tried as best as I could to blend with the existing paint. I probably could have sanded a bit more between coats, but you learn as you go on these sorts of things.

This company. Cement is #1H5. Others are listed. I got the solvent, primer, base paint and clear coat. About $20 for the lot as I recall.

That company is about as close as you will get. Cement does vary quite a bit though. I’ve seen plenty of perfect matches but if you look at the pic below, the aux plate is clearly darker. It’s just one thing we have to deal with for picking the best color. I even complained and had them send a new batch, same exact thing.

Same thing happened with my bumper covers from @eCOOL1. Close but not perfect, which was also varied for guys with the cement color. Btw- I don’t consider this an issue from @eCOOL1, but a side effect of the color. Sand does it too, just not as bad.

Swapped my noisy Icon uniballs for some JBA's. Hopefully this is less maintenance and quieter. Icons will be up for sale soon.
