Just watch a few YouTube vids about cleaning the throttle body then look at yours. Not hard at all. Disconnect the negative lead from the battery. Disconnect the inlet air tube from the throttle body by loosening the inlet hose clamp, unclamp and remove the small hose on the back of the inlet air tube, unhook the top of the air filter, and pull it all out of the way. Disconnect the electrical connector on the throttle body. Then there are 4 bolts with 10 mm heads on them to remove (be careful not to drop them, they are hard to retrieve. Ask me how I know) Only use “throttle body cleaner” to spray into it. Clean both sides and the flapper edges real well. I used a tooth brush and clean shop rag. I don’t know if it was really necessary but I replaced the gasket when I reassembled. Put it back together and you’re done!

Just finished installing my soft tri-fold bed cover. Nervous as hell as to whether I have everything tight enough, but more nervous about having shit too tight and it snapping.

Will snap pictures tomorrow, looks good, my first bed cover. Pitch black outside, been hiding in bed off truck with a flashlight fucking with all the mounts cause I wanted it done tonight.

Guy deleted his post about the ranger...think he was bummed that he bought the sr taco and the ranger he found today had a lot more amenities for the same price or less...and he’s always been a ford guy to boot

Nothing wrong with the older Rangers but they are not in the same league as the Taco IMO and lost its value very quickly Bought mine 21yrs ago basically stripped model because I couldn't afford a taco. It was my first new vehicle. Put a lot of work and mods into it over the years and still drive it today. But now I can afford both the Ranger and the taco and the sports car and.....lol

Limit straps on stock shock mounts?

    Not hating, just curious.

I don't know the 2011's I have been trying to deal on they are awful proud of. I guess what is hurting the deals the most is I still owe $7600 on this Tacoma.

10.5" travel bilstiens from a Tundra with OME hd96 springs and a 1" lift block ( YES A LIFT BLOCK ) ( god save me ) when there is no shock on the lower mount the axle drops about 2" past the mount hole, I take my truck off road, been known to get air born out on the dunes. Blow out a set of Fox extended shocks in Moab last month so yeah Limit straps.

Gotcha. Surprised you aren't going for a shock relocation or SUA with that kind of fun. I'm not even running limits with 12x2.5" but I doubt I could get my pig airborne.

Yea, mines a 98 so not worth a whole lot by blue book even in mint condition. You must be trying to get into a 4wd?

Air born takes mine full throttle and a 1/2 mile to get it going fast enough on the beach to get it off the ground .not really that long of a run up . Moab trip weight fully loaded on the truck scales it reached 6600lbs.
