I just used the hardware that came with it. I didn't do the driver's side, and I didn't need a rivet tool or anything. There were rectangular nuts that slid into the bed rails, and locking nuts with the bolts that held two panels together. Other than that, everything threaded into existing holes. There weren't any instructions, but it seemed straight forward enough. I did need to go to an auto parts store to get a T55 torx bit for the big bolts on the bed floor toward the cab. I didn't have any torx bits that big, and neither did the hardware store.

Met up with @20tacoma17 to pick up my blacked out tail lights. They look so much better than stock, and pair perfectly with @MESO total tails. These babies are super clean and really pop vs OEM. Thanks again @20tacoma17 you really crushed these bud!

Ah, yeah. There are a couple brackets (the tabs you see) that connect to those torx bolts I mentioned on the bottom of the bed. The bed mat conceals most of that nicely

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Glad you like them. They look better in person. The curve in the tail light lense makes it look like there are dead spots in photos. The Meso light kit really works well with those. :hattip:

Did you trim your bed mat?

I haven't yet. I found that, with the front MOLLLE rack, that the bed mat will stick out. Or it rests with some rolls in the front. I'm probably going to trim some. Otherwise, the mat gets caught in the tailgate.

Bartact Seat Covers, Cali Raised LED molle bed system, radio knobs and Subaru Tweeters, OCD interior parts, OEM Exhaust tip, dash cam, hood protector, various theft deterrent items. Still a WIP
Mine initially hit the tailgate right after the install but after a couple days it settled and I didn't need to cut my bed mat. I think it pushed itself back flush to the molle rack.

Agree, did those not too long after I bought the bed mat and lights. Missed getting in on a group buy on them but no matter to me they were worth what I paid for them.

No, I didn't trim it, but I could see how you might need to. Right now, it seats perfectly between the tailgate and the front rack. If it becomes an issue I'll trim it. I was also thinking of carving a little into the bottom of the bed mat where those brackets bolt down so the top of the mat will lay flat over them. But for now it doesn't bother me enough to mess with it.

Yeah. I'm the same way. It doesn't bother me enough to trim anything, but it might in the future. If I set my rack right up against the front of the bed, It's really tight and I have to REALLY slam my tailgate to get it closed. If I move the bed map up, it is flexed and my tailgate closes as it should.
