I emailed the vendor two days ago, and he said stock is one month out. N2 designs is working on a multi camera module that might be worth waiting for... More on that here.

It's all good Bob. No need to apologize. I was just confused why you quoted that (my) post in particular, being it wasn't the knee pad.
I agree, "Outside the box" gets my attention every time! Love it. (I once saw a guy in the jungle, cut tin with a wire garrot. Stood on one end and pulled on the other to slice the wire through the tin sheet. Clever lad.)

...and Best Wishes to your missus!

I noticed the originator of this website changed the banner pic. I hope those two in front of the truck are not contemplating suicide.....:)

I totally agree, at that level they definately earn that pay. That is so awesome that he made it to that level in his career, I am sure he is looking forward to his retirement. Could not imagine the stress he woeks under each day.

All good here as well Brother. To be honest I haven't read every post on this particular or any other thread here on TW, it just so happened that I did read the post that was specific to this one pad. Some day I hope to get caught up reading them all to see just how many other really great ideas I've missed.
Thank you for wishing us well, a little nervous about the situation. All goes down tomorrow. :fingerscrossed:

They've already bought property where they want to retire. I'm thinking it can't come fast enough for him!
Although, he has loved his USAF life. The smile on his face when he graduated from the Academy probably still hurts his cheeks. lol And it has only gotten better from there (excluding the shoot-down over Serbia in '99).
Of course, we (family) all do wonder if D.C. will try to talk him into some political office or such. ??? Wait & see, I guess.

I don't understand the complaints about the Tacoma's seat. This is the first vehicle I've ever had that allows me to drive long distances (9-10hours) and not be in any pain. Also, I've seen people complain about lack of headroom, which I also don't get as they were shorter than me. I'm 6'2" and there's at least 3-4" of clearance between my head and the roof. I know everyone's different, so I guess my body type just fits the Tacoma well?

I know the sunroof tacos have about 1.5-2” less of head room. Hence why I opted for no sunroof.

I remember when I was doing my due diligence, I first sat in the sunroof equipped Tacoma, my hair touched the liner (I have basically a shaved head)... that was a no go.

You are probably right about that. After spending time in Afghanistan last year, I am definately looking forward to my retyirement. I am trying to reach that 40 year mark, it gets tougher every year to stay, but i am very close now. He would be a good man to know for sure, I know he definately cares about all the Airmen that serve under him. Tell him I said thanks for his great service to our country.

WTF? That truck is clearly contemplating PUSHING THEM OFF THE CLIFF!!! First gens clearly can't be trusted in those situations.

There should be a 3rd Gen pic up there. @tcBob - please make it so!

I feel you on this! Where I'm at, it's a high of 78 deg today, and a high of 33 deg tomorrow with 2-4 inches of snow expected. What in the world is going on here?!

I wish people would stop using height as a measure of or relative to head space. Are you standing up while driving? No. You could line up 4 people that are 6 ft tall and all would have different torso lengths. That’s what makes a difference for head room. A shorter person could have more issues with head room then a taller person.

Hey, Bob! Put one like this on my 2007 A/C 4X4, I had to cut it from a complete pad though. Ordered one yesterday and looked at the reviews and not bad at all. The one I made lasted for 10 years and not one time fell off with just the double stickey tape. My knee also rested in the same place and after awhile bothers me too!:hattip:
