What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Well, was more like yesterday. Lifted and installed Method Grid 309's on 33's. Didn't install center caps. Waiting on @MESO Customs TRD caps to be back in stock.

 

Looks like Mt. Washington NH. Crazy drive, especially with a heavy fog

Ditch Light Switch Question


I recently installed ditch lights on my TRD OR. The install went well, the wiring harness supplied by Rago fit perfectly. The lights work, but I am having an issue with the switch.

I found a dash light lead on the voltage/watt reg switch. The light on the switch works, but it is on at full power. Apparently, the lead that I thought went through the dimmer did not.

Does anyone have any experience with wiring the switch through the dash light circuit so that it may be controlled by the dimmer?

Swapped over the winter tires and rim and washed her today.

 

Did you paint your rims or did they come like that ?

 

Sandblasted and paint them Dark Charcoal Metallic.

Excuse the glare from the blinding southerly sun.

 

Drove good and the 3.0 V6 engine had no knocks or taps but this truck spent it's life in the chicago burb's. I got there before they opened because I wanted to check the body real good. I poked the lower edges of the panels and the paint just flaked off. looked rusty under the primer and allot of it was bubbling. Frame was rusty but no pitting or holes. Had to pass on this one.

I will take 60s and 70s all year long if it's an option.

 

Same. Definitely better than the 90-100 we’ve been having.

 

Rust-oleum Self etching primer with Duplicolor wheel paint over top.

Well it's a short bed, so taquito seems fitting to me. Save the grande for the long bed.
