What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

In all seriousness I won't find out until I drive a few hours to the offroad trails. Statistically significant number of reviews on Amazon suggest they work (deer seen running away from the road).

I basically went in and explained that I had researched several issues that were addressed in 3 TSBs and resolved by one fix between all three. They looked at it, and service advisor after it was done came in and said they didn't write up all three complaints, but just wrote up one, since all three were addressed by the flash. I said I'm more than fine with that, write it up however you want as long as you do it. The three TSBs I armed myself with were 0062-18, 0058-18, and 0125-18.

It's a shame that you missed that option. Your truck would look nice with a little more Chrome.

Sure! I was happy with the way it covers all of the chrome. You can't see any, not even along the edges.

 

I think I wash my truck too much...
I just looked at my unlimited wash account online, it logs all your washes... since nov 8th of 2018 I have gotten 108 car washes.

16 times a month during the winter, and about 5 times a month during the summer. I still did a few hand washes during the summer to wax too.

Do those knobs pull off pretty hard? I was pulling on mine this morning but never got any of the 3 to come off. I am going to paint the indicator line blaze orange. Done that on my 2016 SR5 but was wanting to take the knobs off this truck because it would be easier painting the mark with a toothpick.

 

They're firmly on there but they'll come off.

 

Finished my speaker upgrade. Made a world of difference. Gonna test drive them for a few days and see if I want to add an amp or upgrade the HU. Shouldn't have to go thru all this.

 

Don't feel bad Bud I'll bet I'm not far behind you. I wish cleaning the inside was as easy as driving through a laser wash!

@LarsonFan the first one was hard not knowing what to expect. But once you get one off and have a feel for how they come off it’s not bad.
