That's a horrible idea. What time?
I could have used it for this trip so I looked. I stuffed the back seat instead. Which was ok since it's just me. But you know, since i did tires, the mod fire is beginning to heat up. :spending:

No turning back now. These are a good addition if you have a full bumper especially with a winch. You can install them after your bumper is on.

Installed Subaru Kicker tweeters and DS series Kicker 3 way 6x9's in the front doors. Getting too late to get the 6 ½'s in the rear doors so that will be tomorrow. I also have an amp I will eventually power the fronts with. Have all the parts, just need the time.20191209_181211.jpg 20191209_192433.jpg

    Mods? Yes.
Moved the Thule Canyon XT to the topper and added the extension. Made some brackets and bolted those into the roof of the camper with hopefully a good seal using rubber washers.

inside i took a page out of a couple other posters books and used some uni strut as the bolt backing and now i have something to mount hangy things on:

Bonus photo because the only people as interested in my truck as I am are you crazy people:

Sounds good. I'm right down the road in Holly Springs near Canton. I've been looking and it seems everyone is about the same price. May give them a shout. Thanks.

Interestingly TW is better than most automotive and gun forums.

Muzzle break for the win. I take many brakes when I work on my breaks. Because a brake in work is a good time for breakfast.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
If you guys really want to improve your brakes, dump the rear drums. I converted mine to discs last year and have been much happier. It's not that the drums aren't effective, I just didn't like what I thought was a squirrely feel at the pedal. It's not all drum brakes either. I had rear drums on my last truck and never gave it a thought.

S.O.S. Performance has a conversion kit. To do it right, you'll also need a new master cylinder. I had the work done by a shop. I'm told the only nasty part is cutting off the old backing plate.

They keep all the ABS Features?

    What did the shop charge?

    Everything stays the same.

It's WAY cheaper if you can do it yourself. I don't have an exact figure because I had some other work done at the same time. Figure on a kilobuck.

The guys that hang out here were a BIG help. :hattip:

Understood. I no longer have a covered heated work space. $1000 doesn't sound crazy but what the hell kind of shop would do custom brake work on a new vehicle?
