Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
In the exo-burban area where I live, most other drivers feel the need to get right up on your bumper at stoplights. I can't think of one good reason for doing this, but I can think of a couple of good reasons why not to.

I swear, one of these days I'm going to have something like this Smittybuilt thing welded up, only pointy-er ...maybe barbed.

The description of this horn indicates in complies with "environment friendly decibel adjustments." Screw that!

did you do the install? i just ordered the 4500 one. I've been reading about needing extra adapters for backup camera and steering wheel controls? What's your experience with that so far? Thanks!

Hey - Yup, did the entire install myself. For wheel controls/etc, just get the Maestro RR (https://maestro.idatalink.com/product/product/product_id/102) add-on. If you ordered the 4500 from Crutchfield.com, you can get the entire harness & maestro all done for you, so it's complete plug-n-play. Otherwise, lots of wires lol

cool, thanks. I did Best Buy :( but they will do the install. I'm wondering if they will take the adapter kit though and apply to their work. Might just return and do Crutchfield. Sounds like a smarter way to go.

That really sucks and I would be devastated if I were in your shoes. Make sure they pay for any mods that got damaged ( including the quarter panel decals ) as well as paying for the diminished value you inherently lost. Hold your ground and don't accept a check until you're happy. They're going to low ball you for sure right off the bat to try and save themselves money.

I hope it goes smooth for you and you get what you want with little hassle.

    Build thread coming soon.
The filter element works very well in these, I've been very happy with mine and I drive in dust conditions almost daily. Looks cool too.:bananadance:

Holy smokes! I'm so sorry this happened to you. Hate to see it happen to anyone, especially one of us. Let us know how the recycle company does in making this situation right with you.

That's pretty impressive. I hear a lot of people down that way put a ton of money and effort into making their roo-bars as menacing as possible.

We could use deer-bars. I think I've seen a couple of semi-tractors with them.

Texas has them. I've seen some done up so well that they catch what they hit...almost like it was intentional.

    Hmmmmmm...

I would just ask BestBuy, they should have the Maestro kit on hand as well. Most of the time Best Buy has the same stuff as crutchfield, just slightly more expensive.
