I agree, great entertainment but I also placed myself in your situation and could feel the claustrophobic anxiety setting in haha!

Today, flush mounted some Rigid pro Qs into the rear bumper. Great extra light for those time you gotta back up in the dark. ha.

If it brought a smile to someone's face then it was worth the minor inconvenience.
The funniest part and the part that I didn't make known was that while I was sitting there figuring out what to do I had a brainstorm. Just drive to the laser wash to thaw the ice on the window. Half way there it occurred to me that without being able to open the window I couldn't insert my debit card in the reader. Since I was halfway there and since the heater was kicking in I figured I'd just keep going in the hopes that the window would thaw by then. Figured if it did I would just wash my truck since I drove all that way anyway. It didn't open and due to the teens and below temperature the car wash was closed.
One more explicetive, one more rap on the window, the window went down and I was on my way back home.
At that point I figured the safest place for me to be was in the house drinking a cold beer at 10AM. I figured what the hell, it's 12 o'clock somewhere and tomorrow is another day! Here's to tomorrow and to another beer or two.

Also finally got these switches lit up. Guess something went wrong the first time. Haha

Did you switch them, or wire to the reverse light? I can't decide which to do.

These are on a switch. Thought about the reverse option, but they are insane bright. So I get to chose if I blind people or not. Lol. Seriously, wont need them ALL the time. Especially when backing in traffic

That's where I'd like to land when I finally do retire. Fly fishing the days away on the Yampa river!

Super-simple one today... swapped out the four OEM vanity bulbs for new LEDs from @Diode Dynamics, and man, what a difference! This, in conjunction with last week’s installation of @MESO LED map lights and dome light, and the whole interior’s improved. lol

    Oh, and a Gashole.

Oh, I know. That’s why I’m talking junk. Although, it’s likely pretty cold up on the Yampa right now, so you’ll likely still need a garage

Small lift and alignment. 1.5” spacer up front. 1” Block in rear. Really happy with the stance and ride height now. Ride is pretty much stock. MT tires seem more firm than stocks which is welcome.

Wow, what a story. I needed a good laugh. I've never heard of this happening before. Sound like you need to move a little further south...like the Gulf Coast and you wouldn't have to worry about that. Sorry for your bad luck this morning.

I've been locked out before by ice, first time ever locked in.
In retrospect it's funny, at the time not so much. All is well that ends well.

This happened to me too many times last year. The problem ended up being the car wash jets would push water into the key hole, this prevented the locks from moving. I spent a good part of the winter with no drivers door panel so I could go out there with the heat gun and melt the locks. Now I tape off the keyhole when I wash.

You know I never use my key to lock or unlock my doors anyway. Some vinyl and a hole punch the same diameter of the lock and I'd be good to go permanently. Sounds like a plan. Vinyl discs for those of us who use key fobs to lock and unlock our vehicles. Not vehicle specific............, hmmm.
    Hmmm.

Not today...but this last week I got fallen wildpeaks installed, and also installed my bed cover. Modified my 2nd gen soft cover to fit my 3rd gen which saved me some money.
