I have had the Kicker cs 450 watt 6" x 9" front and cs 300 watt 6" round rear speakers, with Subaru tweeters, nearly 3 years and they still rock the house.

Finished my SDHQ winch install. It was a little bit of a pain, my good drill was loaned out to a friend so my very old cordless was thrust into action. The battery was terrible and I kept having to wait on just enough of a charge each time as I was stepping up the size of the two holes I had to drill. The bumper cut had me a little worried but it turned out better than I expected. I was using a dremel which wasn't the best tool for the job but it worked out. Couldn't decide which ultra hook color I liked best so I took a chance on lime green, at least it will stand out while in use.

Now that curb at the mall is no match for me...lol Mall crawling like a boss!

You'll get a warning that it is low long before it just dies.

It was punctured within 1” of edge of tire tread. If it was in center section of tread, they plug and patch for free.

It needs an amp for sure. Same output from deck. Sounds better but you really have to crank it to 40 or more to see the difference. An amp will help a whole lot and next plan of attack. But for $250 or less it’s god if not better.

Our 3rd Gen Tacoma high lift hood struts are now available for pre-order at a 10% off sale price, through Dec 31. Kits will be shipped in early to mid-January on a first come first served basis.

    https://spikerengineering.com/product/16-20-tacoma-hood-strut-kit

If you're not familiar with the Spiker Engineering hood struts, we have been making the unique "high lift" hood strut kits for the 4Runners and 1st and 2nd Gen Tacomas for quite some time.

These are the only kits available that allow you to set your hood height up to 6" higher than stock, giving you unparalleled access and lighting, not to mention saving you from banging your head against the open hood if you're over 6' tall.

To emphasize, you do not have to set the height higher than stock, you can choose whatever height suits you. Check out the beauty of the high lift hood capability and comparison to stock height:

As with all our kits, all components are made in the USA, down to the shipping tubes. All hardware is included, consisting of heavy gauge gloss black powder coated brackets, heavy duty multi-grip rivets, and OEM quality high lift gas struts with an industry leading 5 year warranty. And our pricing is more than competitive with other similar kits.

If you're still looking for that perfect gift for yourself, now's the time to act :D.

Drivers side mirror ditch light quit working. Removed cover and found chewed wire. Luckily easy fix. Amazing where they can fit. Guess I'll leave hood open a couple of days and set traps.

That sucks, luckily was just the ditch light wire.

I wouldn’t think anything could get in there, the hole for the light is small.

I actually think it got in on mirror side between mirror and housing. It had to be small.

Nope. Looked all over. Have no idea when it happened. Haven't used those lights in a while.

That’s good that there were no other signs. Hopefully it was pretty recent.

I’m the same way, I think I’ve used them more from my Switch-Pro app than actually inside the truck. lol
