What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Swapped my painted bumper valance out for the black.

 

I thought california was the only state that made everything Legal?? Well I have two rules for you too.. lol

1) always keep a eye out for cops, when spotted, roll down windows causality as possible.

2) don’t be a dumbass like me and get caught..

How is that attached and how much work?

 

It’s attached by clips all the way around. Took about a half hour to remove/install. I actually have a screen shot off a thread I found on how to remove it.

 

Here’s what got done today..


Add the Cascadia license plate bracket

 

Got my Redline Tuning hood struts installed today. These were the ones that my wife (cough) got me for Christmas.

 

What happens with the stock pole that's used to hold up the hood after the struts are installed

 

did you have to open up the steering wheel to add that emblem?

 

I just left the prop rod there after I installed my Redline Tuning struts. I guess you could remove it if you wanted to.

 

You keep it in place so that you have a backup for when the struts fail.

 

I didn’t. Pry up on the emblem and cut the plastic tabs with an exacto knife. Once you get a couple cut, the others are easier to get to. Then just hot glued the new one on.

 

I just left if in place. It will probably collect dust from now on.

 

Installed smoked white grill lights from runnin4tacos.

 

Put my RekGen mud flaps on today.

 

Easy install...Weathertech floor mats!

 

Still have the color matched number valance? If so does it have the license place mounting screw holes in it?

 

Installed emblem covers and tailgate letters.

 

just pick up a brand new set of Pro wheels from a friend. Install tomorrow

 

I hit 5000 miles so finally time for a tire rotation

My old jack would not work properly so it was time for new ones

I also waxed the front and the back of the wheels while I had them off.

 

Yes and yes. Although, two of the clips got a little mangled upon removal.
