I used the screw and the inserts when I mounted mine. That’s the video I saw. Still had issues. However this morning on my 8 mile drive to work it did not come on. We will see. It’s been a few weeks.

So the system will recalibrate itself after driving for awhile?

Mine did, and that’s what I heard in a couple videos so since mine did it I believe it. I’d also like to think most people with faux pro grilles aren’t driving around all the time with that light on

My Midland radios came today. Amazed at what you get for the price.

One last posting with them fully installed and the front end pieced back together. Perfect? Far from it. Definitely want to upgrade the stock highbeam now to match the tint/hue of the bi-xenon. At least the passive demon eyes came out great! But man oh man, am I happy to finally wrap up this project. Once again, huge huge huge shout out to meso & vtec for all the countless questions they answered for me, as well as everyone who's contributed to the various BHLM threads with tips and advice.

    Looks sweet for sure.
Headlamps are maybe my last upgrade.
Instead of looking back through all the posts, which units did you go with, or did you make your own

Hey fellow Arizonan! Are you on stock suspension with the aftermarket bumper/winch setup? I'm still researching how that will impact my suspension and what I may need to accommodate it.

My guess is the position on the TSS when moved is right on the edge so it seems a crap shoot if it works or not. I think the only fool proof way is a recalibration but that means dealing with the dealership and all that implies. That's issue is keeping me from moving to a Pro grill. I really like the looks of the Pro grill and the cost of the aftermarket grill is very reasonable but fighting the TSS is not something I want to do.

I bought my Pro Grill from Taco Garage. I purchased a Toyota OEM Garnish. I have never had any issue, this includes from bone stock to 1" Fox Pro lift and 1" larger tires.

I think the oem garnish is the key. I have an Amazon pro grille (seven Sparta) with oem garnish and never had a problem. It’s been installed for more than a year and I’ve had the grille off multiple times for other reasons. I recently did about a 3” lift and still no issues.

This month has really been working out for me. I got a couple unexpected days off work and finished some projects. I also just picked up a used pelfrybilt IFS and mid skid. Does anyone happen to know which aluminum t-case skid will work with the pelfreybilt?

Finished up the Spiker high lift hood struts...well, actually all I needed was to replace the trim clip that I managed to lose last night when I was putting them in. Stopped by the dealership parts department to grab one. Struts are an easy install - I set them to lift 5.5" higher than the OEM brace. Really loving this new truck - almost 160 miles on it now!! :)

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I can't even imagine all the wiring for that. The wiring I did was just on military jets.

Wheels and tires done a few days ago. Got around to changing out the grill and a detail today. Plastic coming off soon.
