No issue with it, just a preference. Just like you have yours above. Certainly no smarter then anyone else.

I think I would prefer the LSU version better (Geaux Tigers)

 

I wish they would stop taking low model trucks and doing this to them. Its always a sr or sr5.

LOL..Just doing my part to stir the pot, ruffle feathers, and make a point. In reality I think the gas hole is pretty cool, just don't see the need for it.

In reality, I think most of us bought them for the novelty humor of it. I had a red 08’ for 10 years, took a beating from the sun, but never from the hanging gas cap. Even with fuel drops on the paint, it never once had any issue. It’s more of a cool little conversation piece that still serves a purpose. Just like the blackout kit. Not needed, but I prefer having it to not.


Also glad you didn’t get butt hurt over a sarcastic joke like many others do!

 

Today I installed 200w of Solar in my Prinsu Roof rack and I'm pretty happy with the result

 

Switched out my 4 H9s in my headlights for Hikari Ultras. Happy. Might be a slight loss of performance but my eyes seem to see the colors better. Plus I'm switching out my Morimotos for DD Sae Sport Fogs. Which will help.
I did notice some condensation in my right headlight. My dealer said it's normal. Is this so ? Pic is after I used a blow dryer on it. Much worse before I did

Same way I see it. Unententional bending of that thin metal clip is a real possibility/probability.

I use a locking gas cap so my solution is to just put it on my tonneau right above the gas cap door where it's readily visible. No tonneau? Put it on the bed rail above the door.
Putting it on top of the gas pump will get you buying a new gas cap at some point, not that I would know.

Been putting the locking gas cap for my '96 Z3 on top of the pump for 24 years. Since the key to the Z3 is in it, here's no way I can leave with it still sitting on the pump.

 

I guess it's nice if you want your Tacoma to look like a parts delivery truck. Not for me but someone else may like it which is fine just not my tastes.

its not a bad little investment, rather than spending $$$-$$$$ I spent 30ish on these vinyls and give me the look i want..

this can hold me over until my tires fall apart And im ready to upgrade

 

Who really needs most of the mods that we do?
It's kind of like the saying, "why do dogs lick themselves?
..............."because they can!"
Same thing only different. Everyone should just do their own thing.

 

Kind of how I am. Dipped mine, and want to upgrade wheels and tires, but hard to justify when they are still new.
