Those fog lights look great! I went with morimoto black housing fogs myself, but sorta like these more!

    Truck looks really good!

How much extra weight do tires add?

Keep updated on how much this affected MPG

since i switched from steel rims i think i lost maybe 5 lbs per wheel even with the tire size increase. ill keep you updated but i doubt mpg will change much. tires are SL so not the 10 ply people think they need

Wasn't very difficult. Didn't have to compress the springs because it sits on top. I only disconnected the sway bar (both sides), uca, top 3 nuts and bottom bolt of shock. I also removed the bolt next to where the sway bar is connected to disconnect the bracket that holds the brake line in place to allow some slack in that line as to not damage it. I didn't totally remove the shock, just lowered it enough to put the spacer in and slide it right back up in place. Watch this video as it helps. He did an extra step by disconnecting the tie rod but I didn't do that. Put the drivers side on a jack stand and use your jack as needed to remove stress to raise and lower the front components for easier removal and assembly.

I pretty routinely toss 1000 pounds of bagged fertilizer for our tree farm in the bed of my DCSB on factory suspension. You’ll be alright with the concrete bags and the wheelbarrow, it will likely be right around 1k.

I have my eye on a set of those as well. How do you like them now that you got your hands on them?

Got my recovery gear squared away. I know we love our top of the line, big money equipment. But realistically, in north America, especially east of the Mississippi, I feel this is really all you actually *need*.

Got the lift and tires done today. Super happy with the Icon Stage 4 kit and huge shoutout to Headstrong Off-road for a great deal and great customer service!

How do you like the kit? I know you just got it done but this wound be the best time as you’re still assuming on the same wheel setup? Did you do anything In the rear? Other than their shocks

Initial reaction is that it rides way better than stock. The Icons eat up all the little bumps and dips in the road like they’re nothing. Looking forward to seeing how it performs off-road. I did the 3 leaf AAL in the rear as well. Very happy with it so far.

This is such a good looking size for Tacoma’s

I do get a slight rub on the corner of my front mud flaps when turning in to parking spots, but so minor it’ll either clearance itself eventually or go away when the tire wears a little. It’s way better than some of the lowered sports cars and compacts I’ve had over the years.

    No issues in the rear.

I’ve got all of 30 miles on these so far but my impressions so far are really good. They’re noisy but different than the studded snow tires they replaced... lower pitched, more of a howl (these are my first MT tires). The ride quality and handling at 38psi is great. I’ll have some slush and ice experience on the way home tonight.

I can’t wait for the ice to melt so I can install my 5100’s and AAL.
