    Dipped the hood scoop. Broke the orange clip though, so I've got to replace that.

    OK, OK between you @CXYyuppie and @Cappy you shamed me into it. Sun came out snow melted and the temperature got up to 58 degrees so I said what the hell. Still too wet to do things to the place maybe I'll see about mounting my
    Hi-Lift. Turned out quite well. I wasn't comfortable mounting it to the accessory rails. Between the original mounts (first rate, nicely made and literally bullet proof) that I bought and the jack I just wasn't comfortable with all that weight hanging on those rails so I scrapped that idea and went a different route.
    I went with Tractor Supplies Bull Dog farm jack mount and used rivet nuts (I love that rivet nut tool!) and attached it to the side of the bed. 4 mounting holes in each bracket, stainless steel hardware, solid as a rock. I couldn't be happier of how it turned out!
    Pics of the process when I get a chance to show the steps.

    Will list the mounts I didn't use at some point and sell them at a loss just to get them out of the house

    Glad you were able to get a little motivate. I look forward to seeing the photos.

    On the other hand, I didn’t do anything today. My wife went pick up Mexican food and I’m making the drinks. I’m exhausted just thinking about it.

    Finally installed the CBI T3 Overland Skids. Was pretty easy, just needed an extra pair of hands to lift the steel.

    You sandbagging SOB! You make me work while you're kicking back eating chimichongas, refried beans and Mexican rice. No Coronas with a lime wedge?
    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I needed a little push to get off my duff so thank you.

    Puerco Asado is my favorite.
    If you're ever in Steamboat Springs and you like authentic Mexican make it a point to go to Fiesta Jalisco. Mario, his wife and family prepare the best Mexican food that will ever pass your lips and I promise you you won't walk out of there hungry.

    Glad I finally got this one done. After using those mounts I would never even consider doing a HiLift in a Tacoma any other way and they were under $30.
    That's not to say that there aren't other good mounts out there because there are but these are well made, nicely powder coated and included the stainless haredware at what I think is a very fair price.
    Thanks for the push Cappy!

    Next time there tell Mario you want a drink from the hoof. You'll blow his mind it's kind of a locals secret.

I'm a design build guy on the roll. Been a draftsman all my life but don't have any plans..(do have a sketch). Anyway day 3 tomorrow weather permitting.

    Sounds good to me. I had enchilada verde pollo with all the extra and a large 5 shot margarita. Back to the grind tomorrow. I figured I did enough work around the house in the last 4 days that I deserved a day off. Plus it rained and the wind was whipping. Tornado warnings all day. Not the day to be removing vinyl on my camper garage to replace a section of plywood. Trust me, I’ll make up for it tomorrow. Bring on the sweat.
