Not sure what is more annoying that or a customer service department that was outsourced to another country that has a customer service agent with an accent and that can't talk slower than the speed of light! o_O

When I sprayed my roof with sound deadener I just lowered the headliner and set it on the dash and seats. Covered it with a tarp and sprayed. While I didn't have a ton of space to spray, it was enough. I may remove it all the way when I add more sound deadener later this summer.

Just basic stuff. Bag and tag bolts that come out. Pull the weatherstripping around the door openings because the interior trim panels slide under them. I broke a couple clips because I didn't know about that. The center dome light has a tab on each corner. I believe you push them inward towards the center of the truck to release them. Watch the corners of the headliner from resting on semi-detached panels around the front seatbelts. The corners are weak.

I don't have any back seats so I think that made it easier.

I applied the foam in one sheet. It would've come out cleaner if I had cut it up. I couldn't get the foam into all of these crevices of the roof supports and was worried the headliner might not fit because of it. There wound up being plenty of room. I don't know enough about it to say if it makes a difference if it's cut up or not in this case. Probably not.

Second skin has a lot of good info on the why and where you need to apply what type of product.

It took me about 2 hours to drop it. And definitely disconnect your battery.

On the A pillars, disconnect the electrical connectors and unbolt the wiring from the pillar before dropping it and you may not need to reglue some of the wiring on top of the headliner. There is a similar situation with wiring at the passenger side C pillar.

DM me if you have any problems.

Maybe it does. I'm not going to try it with mine or recommend anyone else try it. My headliner was replaced under warranty at a cost of $3k. Toyota removed the windshield to do it. These things are not strong. The less you can move it around, the better.

    3” lift, fogged out lights,
Feels odd working on my truck when I can't really drive it with current circumstances in the PNW. That said I picked up some tools- Krazy Beaver shovel and Fiskar Axe along with mounts. I ended up picking up a back of the cab rail in order to mount under my tonneau cover. I like the results.

Next project is to de-badge everything. Like the clean taco......

Much more aggressive and they match the bumper and sliders much better than the purely road tire I removed.

Gas mileage is down, but I don't drive much, so little worries.

Thanks for that, I'll let you know. Well if I'm taking the front seats out I might as well take the backs out too, they're easier anyway, just need the seat bottoms out really. Battery for sure, the airbags scare the crap out of me.

The Noico sound deadener and foam are in 11"x15" sheets basically +/-, so they are easy to handle and trim to fit. Butt joined together is plenty fine for the foam I think, and 90-95% is just fine leaving room for connectors and clips, whatever. It's not a recording studio. :rimshot::rockband: I'm looking forward to it now. It will be awesome when done, I know it's worth it.

Took my Tacoma shopping today since I haven't let my wife out of the house for the last four weeks. TOTALLY out of my wheelhouse. The shopping list went out the window. Adapt and overcome the name of the game. Headed to the package store later to buy grain alcohol since you can forget about buying Chlorox wipes or isopropyl alcohol.
Can't wait for the country to get a handle on this. If everyone would just buy what they need instead of stocking up for a nuclear holocaust there would be plenty of everything to go around.
No wonder I like dogs more than I like most (present company excluded) people!

I went shopping today too. To the grocery store to buy food. Lots of empty shelf space. I would have bought more than I did if they had more. Half way through I accidentally touched my face. :annoyed:
