I got one of these from Amazon delivered yesterday. Plugged it in and it blew out some circuit that controls TSS, Air Cond, Power windows and who know what else. Goes in for repair on Tuesday.

 

That sucks. Good luck with the repair, hope it's something simple.

I have stock halogen headlights. I’m waiting on my blinding LEDs On EBay to show up.
My I-phone picks up more light.

The actual light output is way dimmer but new cell phone technology enhances the light to appear much brighter. I hope the new leds will allow me to keep the covers on.

I guess you know already that brighter doesn't equal longer beam throw using LEDs in halogen projectors. Not trying to insult your intelligence, just that there's a lot of research on it.

Added KTJO 4x4 in cab AC and waiting for my tent mounts.....

 

It’s not legal in California if I recall correctly, but for some that is not a deterrent. Just like limo tint on front driver/passenger windows, it’s a fix it ticket if that is the only reason for being pulled over.

 

Mine works great. You must have gotten a dud.
