It's an awesome car. Great handling and speed out the box. Honestly, I have 3 MKIV (700+ HP) and 1 GTR. All are manual 6 speed. I'll take an auto all day. So much more responsive imo.

Fell into a deal for a new rear bumper from Shrockworks here in Houston. The design, while not groundbreaking, suits my taste very well. For a straight bolt-on bumper, they did a great job of making the breaks in the side plates match the body lines, so it looks somewhat stock, and the fitment is excellent. It also incorporates a hitch behind the license plate mount, and recessed mounting for auxiliary/back up lights. This is a pre-production unit, but the design is about 95% final.

I like it, looks great. I did not see it listed on their web site, was it pricey?

Finally mounted some stuff on my rack as well. I took these amazing mounts made by GZila Designs (gziladesigns.com) and then I did my own modifications for my square crossbars since I don’t have round crossbars on my rack.

If you have an Instagram, following MESo is helpful because he kind of hints at what is coming in his stories. When I see something I want, I pretty much just leave a tab open for his website and refresh occasionally. Be vigilant!!!! Hahaha or desperate, you know.

They're expecting pricing to be in line with their 2nd gen rear bumper, from what I was told. They make quality stuff, but aren't too well known. We also run their rocker guards and they've been great.

American flag looks great, nice and subtle, but clean and sharp. Thank you for your service to this country.

Decided to take a day off from working from home and enjoy some time outdoors. It's always great when the boss encourages you to take a day off lol. Here is how attach my bikes for long trips. Still retain my tie down points and bottle opener on my ATH front mount.

Went to the dealer to finalize the paperwork. While there I picked up the bed light switch and relay. I also ordered two bed lights, a set of vent visors and a tonneau cover on line. Going to let the card cool off for a while and then look at the MESo website.

I bought my Tacoma from an out of state dealer. They delivered the vehicle to me then mailed out my copies of the paperwork. In the time it took to do that, this Covid shit happened. Which meant the DMV shut down. Once things started to open back up, I tried navigating the DMV website but it is an absolute cluster. You'd think they'd have a checklist or something but no...

I ended up calling them and got, of all things, a Gmail address for my local office to make an appointment to go in. That was on the 22nd. The earliest I could get in was this morning. In and out in 15 minutes and just a tick over $2,000 poorer, all I got was a piece of paper to replace the piece of paper that I already have in my window until my NDSU plates are mailed to me.

    Note mine, just for reference.

funny you say that! I had an M3 and the SMG went out on it, so I converted it to manual because it is “so much better”. I actually enjoyed the SMG more. I had the CSL tune and it was much more fun to me. That thing shifted faster, and harder than I could ever hope to do, AND it rev matched. If I get another one, it’ll be an SMG again

Hollywood has set me up for failure!

Next thing your going to tell me is that you don't get in firefights everyday and constantly make high profile arrests breaking up drug rings and terrorist cells =)
