Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
As others have said, the visors allow one to have the windows open a bit for ventilation without having to worry about rain getting in. Also, I'm a bit claustrophobic and insist on having the driver's side window rolled down a bit so I can at least hear what's going on outside. The visors let me do this without getting my left arm wet in the rain. Note that while visors may keep the rain out, they don't work with snow. Snow blows around, and until I got used to rolling the windows up in the winter before getting out, I'd occasionally come out to a driver's seat full of the cold, wet stuff.

Got a boat? You could use it as a bumper until your wheel showed up.

Got a friend with a boat? You could take a picture of it being used as a bumper and send it to them and ask them how soon you can use it for its intended purpose!

Just kidding. Just woke up and needed to shake off the urge to be a smart ass. I feel better now.
    Good morning everyone!

You definitely don't need to pay for the original Dynamat name to get the same results. The Noico product is great for way less money. As long as it is the thicker butyl rubber type, you are going to get maximum dampening.

For sound, the first thing would be to cover the whole panel on the door skin that the speaker is mounted to (where the speaker is). If you want even more noise reduction, and super solid sounding doors, do the whole outside skin as well.

Doing the whole truck is best for maximum cab noise dampening, higher powered multi amp systems, and will actually make the truck feel more solid on the road since it will kill a bunch of road vibrations. If you go that far, go ahead and do the roof skin as well. It will be like a whole new truck.

That mini-Taco is gorgeous. I was envious, but lacking your patience and talent, I had to make do with one of these:

At least it's an AC. I've decided that it's an MT, too.

    Umm... Yes.

I had to buy the whole master window control panel from a Prius (it was a little over $20 delivered, so not outrageous) just for the knob.

I've always wondered, if you have to bend the bolt to get it out, how do you get the new one in?

Haven't put them on yet because I want to hit them with a rattle can for some added protection. I don't really think they need it it's just that OCD thing.
They look plenty beefy, made entirely of 1/4" plate and have nice welds. Would have preferred that the disc portion that the shackles attach to was made from 1/2" stock instead of sandwiched plate but understand why they made them this way......cost.
Should be plenty strong enough though. Here's a quick pic.20200619_075938.jpg

I installed an oil catch can.
Its remarkable how much oil vapor goes through the PCV at 500 miles.

One winch for both front and rear just seems like the way to go for me as well. Mounted in the bed when not in use. Out of the weather 365 especially here in the land of salt as well as out of sight from those who would be tempted to relieve me of the whole truck. And then there's the minimal cost as well as the added versatility.

Ah, thanks. I read it as I've read it before, where people bend the UCA bolt.
