WD-40, 3M Adhesive remover. WD-40 is alot cheaper and still useful after the adhesive is gone.

Filthy habit that's killed more than one friend. Got one with terminal COPD right now. Don't know how long she'll hold out but the end is near. Don't understand why the hell they are legal.

Yes, indeed that is what I meant. I misspoke calling that stamped aluminum thing a "skid", as opposed to a "Bug shield"...

I mean, If I gotta remove 4 bolts to change my oil either way, I figured I am going to rock the cool guy skid plate.:D:D

I painted it because with a cement truck I thought the aluminum was too close to the truck color and black is more tactical:rofl:.

Yea, the 255-80 is a 33" tire and the 255-75 is a 32" tire. I figured without a lift the 32 is a better fit, but I will probably have to break out the heat gun and snippers still.

Besides the weight of the 32" tire is a lot less than the 33" and they have SL and C load options and if i went with 33"s, I would have to get KM3s and those things are heavy and expensive...It is a self limiting decision so that I don't spend $5K on a lift in these trying and difficult times:)

I actually rolled out today to stop by a couple of tire places, but they were all packed with people. I am going to go back during the week when it is less busy. All the online sites tell me they wont fit and I wanted to make sure I speak to the guy who would install to ensure that is just not because the websites only use the stock sizes, not that they physically will not fit.

If I found a 33" tire that weighs less than 45LBS and would not need drastic cuts to fit, I would be on it....

It's about choice. Some people make bad choices. Alcohol is the same. I don't smoke and never have. I do drink occasionally but I do it because it tastes good and do not do in excess. Nothing like having a beer with friends sitting around the Taco discussing what the next mod will be. Today is puddle light wiring.

Was needing some bass after the kicker speaker upgrade. Wired a JL audio
Microsub+ right behind the rear passenger seat. Fits like a glove!

While you wont hear it too much, I would put that RCA cable away from the power and ground wires, being that close will cause a whine from the alternator. Its usually a higher pitched whine, so its filtered out with the subs crossover points, but there will still be some bad noises coming from the sub.

Just moving it a inch away will stop the wine. If you have the RCA and the power wire run both on the same side of the truck, you would have to redo the wiring and move the RCA to the other side of the truck, or at least far enough from the power wire.

But check to see if there is any alternator noise first before you go changing anything. Fold down the seat and sit back there, have someone else rev the engine while the volume is down or the music is paused.

Take those headrests out while you're at it. Lots more room for the dog and better visibility without them.

My wife has a 2018 4Runner with the LED fog lights and LED DRL, we are trading the 4Runner for a 2020 Camry. I attempted to take the fog lights off and put on my 2019 TRD OR. There are 2 separate plugs for the lights on the LED fog lights. Any suggestions on what to do to swap the lights?

I think Toyota did away with the chrome after 2017. Shame on me for having an older vehicle.

Power wire and RCA are running on opposite sides of the truck but just feeding into that hole for connection to the sub. Ended up using some wire loom to isolate the power wires from the RCA as well. Never had any whine from the alternator tho!
