Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Jet Seal bottle says 12 months, which from my experience with automotive detailing products means 3 months.

I mentioned having my truck detailed last autumn. Main reason was to get one of those amazing ceramic paint finishes that last for a couple years that everyone was talking about.

If I don't "go over it" with a followup product from the finish manufacturer every couple months, water doesn't bead.

I’m just gonna clean with Plast X or similar products before I succumb to OCD and order a replacement.

I haven't managed to scratch mine up yet but it's no where as clean as I would like it to be. So far it's been a Sable brush and canned air........, has to be a better way or at least a follow up procedure affterwards.

I noticed sometime the question gets asked 5 times and answered twice before I have a chance to check in again. Just need to keep the web page open all the time I guess.

Not so far but like I said it could be cleaner. Sable brush is softest I know of and with the canned air not much abrasion going on.

So I got a crazy story for you guys.

Me and the family went on a day trip up north to duluth. After going to gooseberry falls we started driving back to go to another beach on the lake. While driving we see what I thought was a road flare in the middle of the road.
As we got closer we noticed a mini van on fire, the guy had no clue it was on fire. We pulled up next to him and my wife yelled that his van was on fire, the guy shook his fist at my wife because he thought we were yelling at him for going too slow. Once he realized what we were saying he pulled over.
Now for the crazy part, on monday I had found a garden sprayer in my basement, I put it in my truck on thursday so I could wash the sand off the kids feet when we went to the beach. This sprayer has not been out of my basement in 10 years. I didnt take it out of my truck when we drove to duluth because I figured I could wash the sand off the kids feet in duluth also.
So something put us there at that time with a sprayer that had not been used in 10 years to put out the fire.

Here is the video from the dash cam. Ignore how I am running, I have spinal damage from getting west nile last year and have a hard time walking, this is the first time I have run in almost a year.

After i put out the fire and we left my son looked at me and told me I am a hero :)

EDIT: the video was set to private, I switched it to public

Sometimes I feel like Tim Allen with all of the mistakes I have made. I have still been driving my Tacoma the whole time since I bought these heads off of a totaled Tacoma. The first thing I did was take them to a shop and have them pressure tested for any cracks. If they would have found any cracks I would have returned them.

This is just a retirement hobby to take up some time so I don't have any plans on a build thread. If you have any specific questions then please pm me.
