Added a trim piece across all my uptop load bars. This serves three purposes: 1. Protects the powder coat and, 2. It makes for easy sliding of material on top like my kayak! And finally 3. It raises the load just a little to get my antenna out of the way!

Rain-X is like a wax or sealant so maybe try some isopropyl alcohol to remove it, and then leather conditioner to add the moisture back.

Brother, with bills like that, feel free to rant, anytime. I hope your daughter is okay, I worry my ass off when it comes to my kids. :fingerscrossed:

I can't imagine having to worry about paying bills like that and one of my kids being sick and needing medical attention at the same time. I think I would lose it. I think it's criminal that insurance companies and their exec's make the money they do while everyday good people like you have to bear this financial burden. Total bullshit.

    Peace.

Garmin dash cam mini rear-window stealth install. Ran the cable from the center console left to the drivers seat and then under the running board, up through the behind-the-seat paneling and to the camera, mounted in the upper-left corner of the rear window.

    Ya, me too!!!
I have requested a few times now if there was a regular US Mail option available. No definitive answer yet. There has to be a better way to get this cool mod to us Canucks without paying more for shipping than the actual part.

Maybe we need to set up a Canadian group buy, or Ontario group buy and we could all split the shipping if regular post is not an option? I'm not the guy to administer it, I'm more of an idea man...:D

Is there a dash cam thread on TW? Or should I ask how many there are?

No rush, thank you so much for getting back to me.
That is exactly what I have been envisioning. Plug facing up, just in case the wireless connection decides not to function. Awesome. Last question, do you by chance know if the wiring for the solenoid pack that comes with it, has enough to get it to mount in your desired position without adding more aftermarket wiring?
    Thanks again!

    Nailed it.

Yeah, there's a few threads around here. I like the garmin dash cam mini because they network, sync times, do audio/visual, use microSD's, tolerate heat well, and work with an app. They're also really low-key and hard to spot if you aren't looking for 'em. Plus the USB cords they send are great. For a front stealth install, you're gonna want a short 6" cable to use with the power rearview mirror splice plug. Easy enough with Amazon.

    Dash cam: https://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Key-S...h+cam+mini&qid=1596660697&s=automotive&sr=1-2

    Splice plug & install: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3mETJRs4fw&t=12s https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DMW3DML/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8

    Rearview stealth install: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tg9Fxgynf7g

For the rearview, the long cable it comes with is long enough if you route it. You don't even need to shave it if you feed the micro-USB end through instead of the USB end. All you need tool-wise is a 10mm socket long enough to reach the bolts in the center console cubbyhole.
