Lol, thats funny because I actually had to show my friend the sequential turns on his 2020 sport. He didn't even know those headlights were an add on to his package.

 

I noticed from the reflection of a car turning in front of me, “Oh, is that me?!”

 

inside my SR5 I've only got chrome on the vent rings, ring on the shifter and the emblem in the wheel. the door handles are black, its silver around the cop holders. outside I have chrome rear bumper, chrome around the grille and chrome Badges. I want to put in the SR black grille trim, change to black rear bumper covers and black overlay all the badges .

inside i think maybe cover the wheel toyota emblem in a cement one and cement vent rings

 

Just came back from Louisberg, NC.. East Coast Gear... I now have 4.88 gears including Air Lockers.. What a nice new building they have..

My emblems were chrome. Bought a set of black ones and that took care of that. Still have the cup rings and wheel emblem to go.

 

Orange trim 90% done. I need to re-paint the top trip all orange (not just the stripe) and finish the dash cluster. (Broke the plexiglass three times....trying to get it off). So need to find a way to get it off clean or buy just the plexi.

You know... I've seen many tacky interior but you sir did it right. It' might be too much for some but I think it looks amazing. Very sporty. I love it!

 

Maybe you’ll have better luck than the shop did they recommended using some sort of hot knife. Whatever they did they get it off did not work but I can’t imagine they were overly gentle. When I get to Colorado I’m going to buy another plexiglass part and try to get it off myself. We shall see how it goes. If you have luck, lmk!

 

Thank you! I love orange, and it all stared when the dealership hooked me up with free leather seats. Then I dropped $$$ on the for panels... then came the trim. Lol. I’m happy with how it’s coming together. My project for the winter/Xmas will be to make the top half all black (new black headliner + dip/dying the tan trim). Company will do it all for $800, or just the headliner and I can tinker with the rest. We shall see how adventurous I get.

ps. The exterior will get orange vintage strips too, that’s next months project, it will all tie together. Can’t wait.

Perhaps using a heat gun on a low setting at the tabs would make them more pliable to be able to release the plexiglass panel?
