i got a set of the whites, ordered a set of black inner door handles and then i'll install the lights and handles.

btw, the lights are dimmable using your dash light dimmer knob...

I have had my truck for 3 months now, and it just occurred to me that I have no idea where the dash light dimmer knob is. o_O

Toyotas are weird with the dimmers. The control is on the stalk sticking out of the gauge cluster that switches your odometers. Just twist left and right for dimming.

i know right? i just found out the other day too and i've had mine for almost 6 months

you're welcome! when i got mine i think there was like 1 set of the whites left. i was having a hard time deciding between the blues and whites, finally decided on the whites when i was told that they were dimmable...

Thank You for the info. I learned something new today... I love how this forum can teach you everything from dimming your dash lights to completely rebuilding every component on the vehicle. Good stuff

Got the MESO steering wheel logo cover. It’s dope.

Still waiting on the Toyoda sticker due to.. umm.. presidential issues with the USPS.

I also got my Morimoto XBs in this week.

    FE5BD545-00B4-4A0B-8237-0023EAE622F9.jpg

Plugged them in to test before I removed the grille and bumper and the DRL colors aren’t working properly. When the steering wheel stalk is set to DRL on / Parking Lights on, the DRLs light up amber instead of white. I followed Morimoto’s instructions on their website and everything else works perfectly. I sent them an email with a video showing the issue. Strange. Hopefully it’s an easy fix.

That’s not weird, my ‘83 rabbit was the exact same way. Oh wait, yea it’s a little weird that the 2020 Toyota is still using 1980 VW technology.

The 2nd Generation Tacomas actually had a dash knob to do that with. You found out about it when you cleaned your dash and the knob was inset and set in the dash vertically so wiping down turned the dash lights down/off. Ask me how I know...

Put up this pulley system to take off my shell when I go camping. Good alternative to store all my camping things above as well.

    Awesome!
Take a butter knife and slip it in the back of the handle while it’s open. Close the handle gently on it and it should engage the rear clip. This will let the handle shut smooth like stock.
