I mounted my new Victory Center Console Mollie rack. I’m very happy with the fit and finish on their products. I decided to use bolts instead of the provided screws. I think over time it will be more secure. Now I just need to mount my lock box behind the backseat for a more secure spot. #there&back #victory4x4

Out of genuine curiosity, what happens if you get into an accident and that airbag deploys with the pistol mounted that way? Will the pistol come off the mount and get shoved into your leg? Possibly discharge?

Trigger discipline? I carry mostly Glocks. No safety and always have a round chambered. Just don’t put your finger on the trigger unless you’re intending on killing something and you’ll be fine. In a life and death situation the second it takes you to chamber a round could make a difference.

Awesome you got them in! Mine are supposed to be here Monday.

Is your handle not fully retracting into the cup? Apparently you have to seat the back part until you hear a "click."

Agree! I’m no gun expert but unless you are running a gang or are a king pin why would you drive around with the chamber loaded?

Most people who carry, carry chambered. The people who don’t aren’t comfortable with their weapon.

Can you explain the benefits? What does “The people who don’t aren’t comfortable with their weapon.” even mean? I’m not a guns person so I’m asking a legit question here. I would be concerned about safety as someone mentioned but I don’t know so I really don’t get were you are coming from with the attitude...

With the headset down you really can’t see the posts. Seat buckles are also not really that visible when connected. You’re right about the glovebox lock. Thinking of putting dull electrical tape over it and then cutting out the keyhole.

Why would you carry a gun that isn’t loaded? That’s what doesn’t make sense. Attempting to chamber a round in a live-or-die situation may have you 6-foot under instead of the threat.

It’s an age old argument. Several years ago when I wasn’t that “comfortable” with firearms I didn’t carry with a round chambered and pre Glock I always had the safety on. Then I got proficient and comfortable. There is multiple reasons to carry with a round already chambered. Just a few big ones. One, you carry a gun for protection. In a situation where you have to use your gun every single second counts. Every single law enforcement officer carries chambered and I’ve never met anyone in the military who doesn’t carry With a round already chambered either. Two, when malfunctions happen it’s usually in the process of chambering a round. If the rounds already chambered you won’t have a malfunction when you need to use your gun. Hopefully never but if you do you just aim and fire.

    Minor stuff.
Installed my MobTown Offroad tailgate plate and my Meso door handle covers. That plate is a knee saver. Then I washed and waxed it.

I wouldn’t carry a loaded gun if I had kids in the car, if I was driving in a safe area... I can think of multiple reasons why not. I just don’t feel like my life is so threatened every little second of my life. But again I got no gun training so it could be that...

I appreciate this explanation. Thank you! I understand were the idea comes from.

You do you then. I also keep a fire extinguisher around. I sure don’t expect any fires or ever want to use it, but it’s great to have and ready to go.
