It is matte and was a change from previous years it is a one piece versus a grill and trims ring.

heck yeah Meso himself! Thanks man! I’ll do that. What’s weird is after it was on there for a day seemed like it went into place more so I never thought about it again. They work great. The one thing I wondered is if they’d feel weird grabbing them but they don’t. The edges are smooth enough going around so it doesn’t feel just like a plastic cover sitting there. Very well thought out. I’m glad I bought them. now to get the blackout for start button trim and 4x4 shifter.

    that looks clean.
What kind of intake tube is that?
Does it give the stock intake a little more sound?

A different take on the steering wheel chrome delete...

Found a file on THINGIVERSE and printed it... It is a pain because of all the supports, but I like the subdued retro look.

Is Toyota really gonna discontinue Quicksand? That’s unfortunate.

Yes. Turns out that all the kewl people already have them and Toyota wanted to seperate their elite folks with the Quicksand color.

Bye, bye quicksand, many tried, but most could not get in the elite Quicksand club.

Okay, so should I put up a poll on the worst engineering design component on these trucks? After yesterday... I have my new "favorite".

The High (3rd) Brake Light on my 2016 Tacoma D/C O/R started leaking a week or so back and I finally got the part in to replace the duct tape. Did the install yesterday after an Oil & Filter Change and Tire Rotation. Oil & Filter Change and Tire Rotation took no time at all. Then I dug into replacing the Brake Light Housing... and pardon me for channeling my inner 16 year old girl, but OMG!

Really, remove 1/2 of the interior of the truck to replace an exterior component that failed on most every '16 and '17 truck? At least mine waited until just after the warranty expired. I sure hope I got it installed right, 'cause I don't ever want to do that again. I picked up some sound deadening mat to put up under the headliner while I had it apart. What a PITA. If you put sound deadening on your roof just because... then damn - your my Hero of the weekend

Better not leak any more :fingerscrossed:

I have been following your progress on the camper build and I just have to tip my hat to you. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail made this one of my favorite builds on TW. :hattip:

Logo in his earlier post shows HPS, Googling finds this: https://shop.redline360.com/product...se-toyota-tacoma-3-5l-v6-16-17-red-blue-black

It deletes the stock resonator for louder sound (90% of the benefit of a full CAI kit) but keeps the stock airbox, filter, and MAF sensor location.

Hello all, new taco owner. Picked up a 2020 TRD Sport yesterday and looking to get some seat covers and floor mats. Any suggestions for South Florida heat and I do a lot of running and biking so I'm looking for something that wont soak up sweat.

You are not wrong. Note, the AC version has 2x screws on the outside of the housing. When I upgraded the 3rd brake light it took 10 minutes.
