Put in a HPS Intake tube. Probably no performance gains, and I have yet to hear the increased noise since my FM 50 Series Delta is plenty loud ... but I'm skinnier on the pedal going downhill

Same way you get a drivers license when your hair is neon purple or green. They ask the original color and put that down.

yeah doesn't seem that difficult and as long as you run the router on low and keep a steady pace i think you could make a very nice looking one and if you made a template you could also router in cup holders lol i may give it a shot myself as long as i can source the material.

As someone who runs tags all the time (i.e. 911 dispatcher), you'd be surprised how often I've seen "camo" come across as a color. Of course being in Mississippi, that's not so surprising. Some states simply list it as "other" or "green."

And if anyone in here is from Indiana or Missouri, don't take this personally, but your respective states suck at returning plate information. If anyone who is a LEO, ask your dispatchers the headaches they have to go through for plates to return from these states. You'll more than likely get an eye roll.:annoyed:

Col., where did you get those? I've eyed a view different ones, but haven't made up my mind on any.

I bought both the shackles and the Demon Brackets on Amazon. Here's the link to the shackles I got. Very happy with the quality.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XNQVKC1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought a can of color-matched spray paint and a can of clear coat from The Auto Paint Depot - also through Amazon - and sprayed the shackles to match.

    I have a blue one!!
I have noticed that acceleration is smother. It seems the power band comes on a bit sooner and climbs up nicely. The howl from the intake only seems to be noticeable around 3500+. You forgot to mention the cool factor although it would look nicer if someone gave that engine a bath.

Looks great! I’m also interested in this item... but I can’t find anything on weight/pull capacity for them.
Any idea on this? I know you probably just put this on but any pulling experience with them yet?
Im still on the fence with these but if it’s mostly for the cosmetic purpose I’m sure there’s cheaper options out there lol

There are a few option. One of the most popular seems to be the anytimebackupcamera.com kit. If you are looking to add more than just the from camera like I am(4 in total), there is a fellow TW member that has designed and manufactured a circuit board to handle the 4x inputs utilizing the ABC switch from the above company.

Yes I'm ashamed of my engine bay :pout:
I've only had it on for 2 days, and I kind of do notice myself cruising faster than normal on the streets which makes me lay off the pedal more. Hopefully I'll see some MPG improvements over then next couple of tanks. I'm looking forward to observing the same results you pointed out!

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Did you install the Pro intake air accelerator (rubber funnel), replace the paper air filter with a less-restrictive re-usable one, and remove the secondary cheesecloth-like filter? I had a hesitation on acceleration and making these changes, along with the HPS hose, got rid of it completely. I can't vouch for any horsepower gain, my butt-dyno isn't that precise. Didn't notice the extra noise either, but my MBRP dual exhaust does well enough on its own in that department.

Definitely worth the wait! Making the shackles color-matched makes it look like they were OEM.

Stock air box and filter, no accelerator. Maybe looking into K&N filter in the near future (a friend recommended to use it dry, no oil).
