The cats peed in their cat carriers, and now the camper kind of stinks. Also, when I got to the SPCA to shelter them, I forgot the camper key at the hotel, so I had to fish them out through the camper side window. That, and I only had the front camper straps on, as I didn't have time to put the rear camper brackets on, so I was thinking the camper was going to fly off the whole time. But, yeah, luckily the Calvary got there just in time, and the fire didn't make it over the hill. Our house is just fine, and luckily, I didn't need the camper for long term cat storage. lol

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I'd send in my house centipede, but he's busy patrolling the kitchen counter. Ants do not dare venture into my kitchen.

Yep, I like it too. I'll heal from this breakup for sure. But now I'm back to analysis paralysis on 12v switched power. However, a ray of sunshine had me win an eBay auction which appears to be more than one (2?) 75 amp high current relays for $1 (new open box apparently). So, I can possibly spread the love around if there are 2 or 3 of those. Need to decide if I'm going to run off my own tap from the battery or use the trailer brake controller harness option. Then hit a blue sea 6 fuse which I'm hoping to stash under the cupholders where it seems there is quite a bit of space.

What's the current draw on a camera? I wired in a PAC TR4 for remote out which I think can do 2amps and left 3 bullets on that (soldered-in the antenna but debated long and hard on that one). So, I could maybe tie in there and do a custom ground if the camera power is super light but it's pretty dirty bird.

There may be a way to get them to work, I’m not saying they can’t. I just didn’t have any luck with it. I didn’t dive too deep though. You could power the front camera from the same switch that activates it on the screen as it will be a very low draw. Maybe just tap straight off of the radio power to drive the switch and camera? That was my original plan before adding the additional cameras. If I recall correctly, that is where the Germes gets it power from anyway. I could be wrong there, I sold the unit. I could still pull of the instructions though if I had to.

Yeah, I think I _may_ have to use my leaf blower or dog blow dryer but not even sure that will evict him vs smashing him deeper inside the guts. And I'd maybe rather let him live if I can do it, though I'm not that choked up on the loss of a spider. I think I used up all my compressed air cans and don't want to buy any more but I can hunt, might be a little left in one somewhere.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot, on an actual relevant truck topic, my shift boot collar is bleach bathing and went much faster than the cupholder trim. Interestingly, that plastic is white whereas the cupholder was black. Soon it will be time for the paint shop and _maybe_ someday I'll have cupholders again. Going on 3 months I think, good thing there are like 20 of those in the truck.

Oh, and my first reaction to MESO MGM door handle covers was "that's too light" but it's growing on me and I like 'em a lot in the daylight. Black seemed a bit too boring.

And, I think I'm 90% decided on cheapo aftermarket black plastic bumper shells to replace the chrome ones. Someone feel free to talk me out of that move :) Seems like the money could be better spent on a real steel bumper but I've looked at many and I think I kind of prefer the OEM look even though it's completely useless in an impact.

I’m not sure the current draw off the top of my head, but I’m willing to bet under 2A. I can check when I get home in a few hours. Currently “working”

Oh, the maestro can have like 3 camera inputs and you can program the steering wheel controls to swap them, I just really liked the auto on after reverse for the front camera even though it really doesn't help outside of parallel parking. I just don't have any steering wheel controls working at all yet, not even volume. The fact that they aren't working tells me I still have at least one connection I'm screwing up or I have to re-flash.

I’m not sure (and I bet someone could answer this, but I wouldn’t know where to start) but I think the Maestro and the Germes Labs are interfering with each other? Just a hunch. If you want to have additional cameras, PAC makes a switch for that as well. Check out the PAC VS41. Four camera inputs (including the rear, so 3 additional). You just need a way to trigger them. I am using turn signals for left/right, as well as manual switches for left/right/front/rear. There’s a post somewhere in the thread showing the switches I was doing for it. But if the Maestro isn’t doing ANYTHING, there probably is more going on.

Yeah, I really fear learning more about your setup and feeling compelled to add more cameras :) I've buried myself enough in mods that I'm not sure when I'm coming up for air. And I've driven just about one full tank of gas since I bought it back in May because no-where-to-go...

maestro is doing a great job of showing the gauges and stuff, that part kinda rules. Of course I have a perfectly functional tach which does a great job of showing me I'm idling in my driveway already but it sure looks cool in digital form...

Oh, and just to disrupt you even more now that I know you have one, I *believe* the maestro rr2 has 2 external trigger wires which are configurable. It also is supposed to be able to configure via bluetooth so you could change without removing the unit (though connecting a usb from a laptop is hardly that big of a deal). So, you _might_ actually be able to do your 4 cameras off long presses of the up/down/left/right on the right hand side of the steering wheel? I dunno, but I hope you spend a few hours figuring it all out someday :)

I did like that feature as well. Mine doesn’t show trans temp though. Wish it did, and I believe they are capable of it, maybe it’s just a lowly SR thing? It did add the audio feature to the small screen by my gauges though, which want there before.

Today I added a vent on my bed cover. I'm getting an estimated additional 2 mpg with this customization.

    DAMMIT!
Anyone know if I will be able to buy parts for this or am I looking at replacing the entire cover?
