Yes and we were just talking about this yesterday here and how I was too cheap to pay $40 shipping. This morning's find was indeed good.

Is shipping the bed mat that expensive?
I got my LB Bed Mat on Amazon for $85 shipped.

The best price I found for the short bed mat on Amazon was $117 and change, free shipping for prime members and not 2 day shipping either. Local dealers 119 plus tax. It could be a demand thing too there are more short beds than long out there.

Shipping from Toyota parts online was $43. But free with the coupon code backtoschool that's good now at 81.90 at the link I posted

I'd say it's probably the size and weight of the mat that makes the paid shipping so expensive. That's money saved I can spend on something else for the truck

I'd like to upgrade my speakers and add a compact powered sub I took out of my Jeep to mine.
I have a new amp wiring kit on the way. I just need to figure out a mounting location and if I can tap in to the speaker output or use a line converter.

Awesome, good one on the savings.
I just checked on Amazon, and the LB Bed Mats are also now at around $110!! Prices have been going up.

Back then, my bed mat hovered around $95-100
I tend to keep things in my "Saved for Later" cart, and check back daily to see if prices have dropped. Got it when it dropped to around $85, got the door sills too.

Shipping is wicked expensive for the common folk! Businesses must get a significant discount depending on the amount of merchandise sent.

I made the mistake of sending a console vault from one coast to the other after quoting the sale price including shipping. It was already discounted at well over half off before shipping charges. Needless to say I took a bath and the purchaser got one hell of a deal. Live and learn! o_O

I don’t understand why Toyota shows the long bed mat as no longer available. The only way to get an OEM bed mat now is to pay roughly $130 total on Amazon or other sites :annoyed:

Oh, I understand the price factor on Amazon and elsewhere. I just don’t understand the Toyota no longer available thing. The way they show it, it almost seems like they discontinued it as opposed to just being out of stock. I could be wrong though.

Search the dealerships, I'm sure someone still has them in stock somewhere. Price point is another story.

Thanks for sharing! Ordered one this morning. Now I just need the truck to come in, so I've got a place to put it! Truck should be in next week (but I'm not counting on it until I hear it's there!).

Awesome man! I know sort of how that feels mine was a dealership swap but it was still on the way to the first dealership. They gave me like a window of about a week. Ended up getting there in the early part of the delivery window.
    Congratulations on the new truck.

Both rca pre amp and speaker level input. It's the Sound Ordnance B-8ptd that is a very popular seller at Crutchfield.

It was connected to the single din Alpine in my Jeep with the pre amp cables to the sub output now I'm not sure how the best way to set it up or locate the unit is.
Behind the right rear seat or under the passenger seat maybe.
