Nothing to really take pics of but heres a few. Just ash everywhere throughout the truck. Even had it on recirculate. Had new cabin and engine air filters, they were caked with ash. Had to replace them with less 200 miles. Truck is going to smell like a fire for months.

I added an Alien spaceship sticker to my front windshield. Sometimes I wonder if I take an idea a little bit too far

Your alien anal probes are nothing for us to judge. I hope they were at least gentle.

Thanks for taking one "for the species."

    Like, so many.
Glad you didn't get any external damage. From those pictures it could have been really bad.

Thanks! PM sent. The satellite detections for the fire you're asking about were taken at 2:36 AM. They seem to be updated every 12 hours or so.

Folks, use this map link for updated fire detections and infrared (it may take a bit to load, you can use the manage layers function to add "imagery with labels"): https://maps.nwcg.gov/sa/#/?/?/42.3584/-122.6805/10

National Guard and private contractors are also flying Infrared over the fires to give a more exact heat detection outline. Wildfire Today has some updates too.

At least you still have a vehicle to travel in. Material things can be replaced. How did your parents get out? With you in the truck?

yep, they wrecked their vehicle running over rocks and downed trees because they couldn't see them until it was too late, had to get chainsaw to cut them out and crammed them and everything in truck.

I haven't noticed any melted panels or lights yet. Just hope the grime on truck isn't covering them up. Either way we are safe so its all good.
