How well do these stay in place?. Amazon reviews say held in with double sided tape.

Change the tape to 3M emblem tape and those suckers aren't going anywhere.
The big three. Paracord, duct tape and 3M emblem tape.

 

At my house they would already be in the garage if they were breaking in to the truck.

 

If you get the speakers from Crutchfield they give you the speaker mounting adapters and the wire adapters for free. At least they did when I put mine in.

I ordered the wrong part but luckily I entered my VIN when I placed the order and the parts department caught my goof up and ordered the right part. The correct part is listed on my original post. He told me this is the third one he’s ordered this year and that fatigue and temperature fluctuation plays a big factor on this part failing.

 

I didnt know they did.But i think he said 2020

Like someone said earlier, I think that depends on the wheels you run. I read through a ton of the forum threads on running 33s with the stock wheels and suspension, and those left me confident I could do it without any real trouble.

Of course, if it turns out to be a big problem when I take it out on the trails, I'll just issue a mea culpa to my wife and it'll speed up how fast I get my new suspension

 

Blue Sea Fuse box and relays mounted to the black fuse box housing that was next to the battery super easy to drill into. I personally prefer this over a bracket.

 

Here's what I did in the rear. I could imagine this would also be practical if you were to leave the single seat installed on the left side. I just used the hinges that the seat bottoms were using.

 

Costco send me a 50% off coupon up to $200 savings so I picked the best thing I could for $400. I have the sport so adding a large skid plate on the front seemed like a good idea. Not that easy to do by myself but I just went slow. Getting all the bolts to catch was the hardest part. Probably took it off a couple times to get it right. On to the next project....

 

That’s sexy AF! But with the kid and dog just not practical for my use! Totally badass though awesome job!

 

Looking good... don’t forget a foam pad... your pup will really appreciate it. I hooked up a teather on to the back wall to stop my guy from trying to join us in the front...
