Ditch that mount and get the Course Motorsports Phone Mount. Then it will work with any chrome delete kit you want to do.

Explain what the regular gas tune is or any other tune for that matter.

Tunes are software adjustments made to the operating parameters in the ECU such as fuel consumption, temperatures, shifting point, etc.. OVtune sells software that allows people to make the changes they want to their ECU, though they also sell pre-built tunes that they and other people have designed to make changes in the trucks performance. A regular gas tune is a tune designed for someone running 87 octane gas as opposed to higher octane gas, which has different tunes designed to take advantage of that higher octane fuel.

No problem. Seems like most people tune their truck to get snappier shifting or throttle response. Our trucks are designed from the factory to put an emphasis on fuel economy, not performance. At least thats what I've gathered.

Mine was difficult to pull as well. Stretched the tool out like yours
I'm assuming they have plucked the start button before, so it was much easier for them.
    Looks good though!

Thanks! And yea I agree with you, and almost didn't pull the trigger on these for that reason. The Victory 4x4 2nd gen panels follow the 2nd gen's console nicely, and I almost bought those to see if they would look good on a 3rd gen. BUT, once I got these installed I really like em. The included screws are a bit short, and won't grab much with the spacers in there, so I found some longer ones in my garage and used those instead.

The 3rd gen panels have a few more, thinner slots on the upper rear than the gen 2's. Might work out a little better for mounting certain items I guess. Here's a pic from the website for reference
