Super easy. Just don't believe everything ya read cause I did have to remove the pillars to get the other grille out. Maybe, I say that still not believing, you could do the driver side with removing it, but the passenger side you cannot. Alot of people on here said they didn't have to and some did. On my '18 I needed to.

Lol, didn't think about a gator, but I guess anything's possible; they are everywhere out there. I think it had a lot more to do with the speed at which I was hitting some water obstacles. Sigh. :pout:

Used a steamer and then you can use either Goof off or lighter fluid. Really easy!

I'm surprised you could make them out lol.

    Motorola MJ270R 22-Channel 27-Mile Two-Way Radios

I haven't had a chance to use them yet, except in suburbia. I tried them once with my roommate, and could only get reception to about a mile.

But I'll be scouting some game spots in Ocala this weekend, and I plan on trying them out then. Their intended purpose is off-road/hiking communication out in the wilderness.

I plan on upgrading to a Midland 40 Watt GMRS MicroMobile Two-Way Radio - Long Range Walkie Talkie, 8 Repeater Channels, 142 Privacy Codes when I settle on an aftermarket power management.

I’ve got similar to these. They look great, but if you actually use them, they are so high they really force you to almost hit your head on the door if you’re not careful. After you figure out how to use them, they aren’t bad. They just don’t work like traditional low hung running boards. They also hit the back of your leg when getting out unless you step on them. I think they are the best looking running board out there so it’s worth the annoyance.

Sent the GF on a girls trip for the weekend so I could commandeer the garage for some organizing and finally fit my new Longbed inside.

Ok, cool, just curious. I'm always interested in what people are using for radios. If you are serious about emergency coms out in wilderness, look into getting your FCC Ham radio technician license. Piece of cake to study for, now with all the online resources, and you'll have access to all the repeaters in your area. You mentioned Ocala, so you must be somewhere around where I live, and there plenty of repeaters that reach out into the middle of no-where up there. Just food for thought. Florida also has something called the SAR NET, which is a series of microwave-linked repeaters that cover almost the entire state. So you key up the mic, and can be heard anywhere in the state if it's that much of an emergency.

I'm in Orlando. Not a short drive by any means, but Ocala has the best chance of yielding me a deer tag/opportunity short of driving to Alabama, lol.
