Did the rail bolt right up or did you have to complete some modifications?

Literally unscrew the 5 bolts on the back top rail and then screw them back in with the rain. Nothing else needed.

New to the forum. Purchased the ‘18 TRD Sport exactly a month ago. Started with some inexpensive aesthetic mods with long term goals in mind, because well...I just bought a truck.

Don’t hate on the “raptor” lights and trd sport badge. I like the look and have been driving an ilx for the last 9 years so I don’t know the politics, get over it.

What would you guys do next?

    Mods so far:
    badge and emblem removal
Added TRD Sport TRD Pro style badge
    265/70/17 Wildpeak AT3w
    Cheap ass pro grill replica
    Grille lights

    On the way:
    Tonneau bed cover

    Goal:
Prinsu roof rack w LED light bar
Body armor low profile front bumper
    Bilstein 5100s adj

    Considering removing pillar vinyl

Yeah, thanks, but no way to attach, it's a molded, clip-fit. I could probably silicone on a clear piece, I may do that with this one for a spare, I can see this happening again if you use your truck. :) I'll bite the bullet and get OEM this time and start building spares.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Maybe figure out a way to put a protective bar in front of the lenses. I bet your not the only one who has accidentally damaged one of these new OEM bed light lenses. Something like this?
    https://www.amazon.com/AUTOHAUX-Gri...ck+Metal+Car+Bar+Grille&qid=1603073547&sr=8-1

I installed LED lights under the side bed rails. They are well protected there.

Because the stock pump is only 800psi and with 37” tires makes it hard to steer. With a Tundra Rack n Pinion in my tacoma and seeing I’m rock crawling I need more power. So the 1450psi pump will make steering 37” turn with one finger on my steering wheel.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Never even thought about the intake sound. May need some exhaust cutouts built in to bypass the snorkels for around town driving with your windows open. LOL
    That engine just sounds sweet..

Installed the Overland Equipment power management kit and cleaned up my aux lighting wiring. Looks so much better now. Any one else with a MT installed one of these? I'm still wondering if the hose for the clutch reservoir is bent too much.

Also installed the OEM bed light kit except I followed @OdiN1701 write up. Really like the idea of having a button at the lights and not having to turn anything additional on.

Honestly, I have not noticed as it is new and I have only tested it out using water hose pressure.
The tank seems really thick, but I guess anything under pressure can/will expand to some point.

When I purchased the wheels and rims - I didn't get the black lug nuts and wheel locks. So - replaced those today.

I haven’t installed one yet, but I’ve put much thought into it. If I end up moving the clutch reservoir, I’ll replace the molded rubber hose with flexible straight hose to prevent the crimp. I doubt it would cause any problems, but my OCD wouldn’t allow it. I have a pelfrebilt tray with a hole so the reservoir can stay in its factory location, but I don’t think I’ll end up using it.
